Prologue
I am often in conversation with friends and associates, who will define what is important to them. Interesting but not surprisingly enough, the reason behind the defining invariably leans toward individual experience. If I were to ask the average person to define "peace," the definition may or may not be similar to Webster’s defining, or anyone else’s for that matter. However, the concept of peace would only be intrinsic to that person, as my defining of peace in comparison or contrast would be unique unto me. As author of this text peace conjures up a multiplicity of mental images, sensations, and visualizations. I suppose many of the images are tucked away deep within the psyche, and brought to the forefront dependent upon the moment or what has or is transpiring at the time. Thoughts of travel, evoke peaceful images of walks along the beach while sipping lemonade—a surreal and relaxing moment, in which anxiety and daily stresses are oftentimes released. Perhaps this
