About the Author Michael K. Lea, PhD is the Congregational Care Pastor at Chesapeake Church in Huntingtown, MD, where he oversees the care ministries. His ministry experience includes children’s ministry, youth ministry, and counseling ministry. He is a licensed counselor in Maryland and a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with the National Christian Counselor Association (NCCA). He is the author of Counseling Youth used as a training course with the NCCA. Dr. Lea is a national speaker on temperament, youth and marriages. As an ordained minister he assists with weddings, grief and funeral services, and also provides individual counseling. With his wife he provides pre-marriage and marriage mentoring to couples. Dr. Lea enjoys studying and home improvement in his spare time when he is not hanging out with his grandchildren.
