This story is set in the 1950s in London, England, its the time when most people didnt own a refrigerator, TV, Microwave or mobile phones. Children played games like five stones, (Jacks) snakes & ladders and card games to amuse themselves. Its about a very ordinary boy called Mathew who buys a packet of chocolate drops and experiences extra-ordinary events which sees him going from being mildly amused to extremely excited and really not understanding what has happened. Together with his friend Dan they try to find solutions only to end up in trouble at school, they have a code by which they refer to the Everlasting Chocolate Drop so that no-one else can know what they are talking about

Patricia is married with four children and five grandchildren to whom this book is dedicated. She worked as a Legal Secretary for many years and has also worked as an usherette in a cinema to running a Charity (thrift) Shop. She has many hobbies, which include baking delicious honey cake muffins, gardening, travel, visiting galleries and art, Art Deco being her favourite period of design. She likes to read anything from biographies to drama and is fascinated by people from history.
