Refreshing! Challenging! Encouraging!

When I asked to write the forward to Karen’s book, F.A.D.E., I was hesitant. First, because I was not sure that my contribution would help or hinder the success of the book. Secondly, the Title and subject matter are troublesome for some including Christians even though they were commonplace in the Early Church. Also, because I was not fully aware of Karen’s background in Christianity, could I determine if the book was scripturally sound? One thing I did know was that Karen loved Jesus Christ, loved His Word, and loved people.

Karen is bold in her faith that God is true to His Word. She seems to me to be a person that lives and walks Proverbs 3:5−6. She is honest before God in conversation and expects God to lead and speak to her. I guess what I would say is that; she experiences her faith in her daily life. With Karen, head knowledge is necessary, but a practical living out of St. James 2:21−22 kind of faith is where we all should and can be.

Some readers will balk at her writing, some will want to know more, but all will benefit by her down-to-earth explanations and challenged to think about their own experience with God. The question is, will I allow God to use me in a greater and more powerful way?

I would love to tell you how to suit up for battle, and motivate you with a heart wrenching speech and send you out to fight the enemy. But that’s not how it happens. Every warrior has a plan, a beginning. Even Jesus, God incarnate, had John the Baptist "Prepare ye the way of the Lord…" (Luke. 3:4 KJV). For daily battles with satan and his demons, prayer is where it starts. For the enemy is unseen in the spirit realm. The weapon of choice is prayer, which is effective in this realm.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

My call is to build up an army of mighty warriors, by teaching you how to battle satan and his demons. I will give you examples from the Bible and my own experiences. Lord Jesus’ will for me was to write this book and to teach you what I was taught by the Lord. The ultimate goal is to save souls.

When reading this book start at the first page and end at the last page. Do not skip around. There is a precise order to this warrior manual. If there is one thing I know for sure, that is God is a God of order! And I want to follow His example.

Part one, I build a foundation, which is needed and leads to the Keys of the Kingdom Equation.

This equation is a very important weapon against all evil entities. Please read for comprehension. Part two, I take you into the spiritual realm and tell you what, I see, and what you may see with spiritual eyes. Part three, we get down to the hands on part of battling demons. Understand that you should not skip the other two parts of the book and jump into the hands on section. Do it right to get the right results.

Enjoy the book and pray for wisdom and understanding before each reading session. My prayer is that you will be empowered to stand against the evil spirits with the power of God in you. That you will have the strength of the Lord etched in your heart by knowing He is with you always even if you can’t see him, touch him, hear him, or feel him. His strength is all you need, just believe.

Spiritual warfare is fought with prayer. However, I want to share with you where I started, and the journey I have been on to the present as a mighty warrior for the Lord. I will be honest and tell you, I believed in prayer before I believed in God. I know it sounds strange, but I think many people begin this way. If you are ready to start this training to become a warrior you must first develop a strong prayer life. Here is my story and how it all began.
