    Preface

    I am a holistic educator and have been privileged to work with children for over thirty years. Five years ago I began receiving intuitive information about a new type of child whose consciousness would revolutionize our planet, and mark the beginning of a Golden Age for mankind. I was given a contract by the Universe to write about the children, and I accepted it without even knowing where it would lead. Of course, in the beginning, I couldn’t see its full implications, but in my heart it felt right. Our planet was in a crisis, and I knew it would take a higher consciousness to heal a world that was lost in materialism, separation, and faltering on the brink of environmental collapse.

    For years I have followed a spiritual path that has continually guided me to listen to the voice within. It is that loving inner voice that co-created this book with me. Some might question who the voice is, but I have grown to know it as the voice of my spirit, the Divine consciousness to which we all have access.

    Over the years, I have been tested many times to listen ever more deeply. My inner voice has always counseled me to align my intention with the vibration of Love. It has been a journey of great challenge and great beauty. As I listen in the quiet, I try to live the truth that my inner voice lays before me. And I am beginning to see the incredible potential we have as human beings when we embrace our true nature as Divine beings.

    We all have spiritual knowledge within us, if only we take the time to listen. We don’t have to go outside of ourselves, and I believe that when we go within, there is nothing that we cannot know. During the writing of this book, the inner voice of my Higher self took me into places I didn’t know existed within my own consciousness. Information came forth that gave me hope for the children and the earth. I began to learn about the Universal truths that can help us recover our true humanity. And even though I still struggle when my fears surface, the indwelling voice of my spirit is always loving and steadfast, ever ready to dispel my doubts.

    Having been given this assignment, I listened within, and wrote whenever the Universe prompted me. The spiritual information I received about the children was closely connected to my practical everyday work as a teacher. From the beginning, I was given the concept of twelve Universal guidelines needed for today’s children. As I observed and worked with many exceptional children, I was getting consistent feedback that verified every one of these sacred principles. Some of the metaphysical information included in the book points to areas of scientific exploration that are outside my realm of human knowledge. But I believe they are meant to open us to a more expanded way of looking at the mental, physical, and spiritual levels of human development.

    My Higher self directed the writing knowing just what universal idea needed to be combined with my real life interactions with children. Experiences with my daughter are also described throughout the book, for it was her birth that awakened me to my own spiritual path. The deep concerns I have about how we are raising and educating our children spilled onto the pages. The vibration behind sacred words came through in a way that often compelled me to capitalize them, honoring their universality. The passages I received directly from Spirit are italicized to highlight their beauty and wisdom. Every word was guided with love. It was an inspired way to write, and as the process unfolded I simply followed its rhythms.

    Throughout the writing of the book, there was a profound feeling of reverence for All Life. Even within the strongly worded messages meant to shake us out of our denial, I felt the deep compassion of the Divine. Many times my eyes filled with tears, and I leaned my head on my desk letting the soothing energy move through me. To feel the presence of the divinity we have within each of us reminds me that we are never alone and that we are always being guided to a grander vision of ourselves.

    The children coming forward are going to move us toward a time when we will consciously co-create our lives with the Divine, so that we can live in harmony with each other and the earth. And, throughout the book, I was carefully guided to stay open to the energy and beauty of this co-creative process:

    The field of resonance needed for this communication of higher thought will be maintained simply by writing with deep love, and enjoying each and every moment. Allow Universal guidance to prepare you for the work ahead. Let each word emerge from the highest within you, and know it will deliver the love you feel for each child. Be careful not to impose unnecessary restrictions upon your thinking, so that you will be open for a higher vibrational level of communication. Honor each day as a space-time continuum of inter-dimensional work. Remain in the present, and let the writing fill you with joy.

    In August of 2005, I felt a sense of urgency as I was preparing to go back to school and resume teaching. Something prompted me to ask whether I should be returning, and to my surprise, I received the following guidance:

    Cancel all projects involved with the school environment. Give all to the writing and feel uplifted to honor each assignment given you. There is no need to feel alone in this endeavor, for I AM your constant companion.

    I could feel my ego protesting, "How will you support yourself

    if you quit your teaching job?" This wasn’t the first time my spiri

    tual guidance was setting me on a course that required a leap of faith. And as always, my ego jumped into the fray with loud warnings of impending disaster if I followed the gentle voice of Spirit.

    I spent the next few days meditating and praying. I had a very modest income with none of the employee benefits our society considers essential for survival. Over the years, I have been learning to trust the Universe to provide, and once again the Universe was asking me to follow my heart. Pacing around my apartment, I knew I had to make a decision soon. The opening of school was two weeks away, and the principal would need to find a replacement for me. Sitting next to the phone I turned to my inner voice:

    Realize you have offered to uphold an agreement to elevate the consciousness of many who will be given the responsibility to raise and educate the new beings of Light. Never doubt you will be given enough material sustenance for this project to be completed. Use what you have and rejoice in its abundance. Find in yourself complete peace, and know that everything will be taken care of. It will not be difficult unless you place your trust in the worldly view of economic sustenance.

    Joyfully give yourself over to My bounty forever leaving behind dependence upon a world enamored with illusionary security. Work in complete harmony with My word, never doubting the beauty of each step. It will be necessary for this work to embody thoughts of the highest vibration.

    It will be a project of worthiness when Love is the centerpiece. You will see how each step guides the next, for Love in all things produces miracles.

    Looking out my window on a warm, golden August day, I picked up the phone, called school, and tendered my resignation. I was first called to co-create this book with Spirit six years ago. Now I was being asked to devote my full attention to completing the task. The actual writing of this book has been a joy, and I marveled at the ease with which the words flowed. It was a dance between worlds, a weaving of communication from my Higher self blended with my experiences as a mother and a teacher. I am grateful for this gift from Spirit, knowing I have been blessed to witness the beauty of Wisdom’s children.

    Introduction

    It was September 2000, and I was sitting on my bed in a rented room, meditating. Exhausted from a difficult day teaching seventh grade at an inner city middle school, I was praying for a miracle. I felt that my work with the children was spinning out of control. I wanted them to relate to each other in a more loving way, but too many children seemed alienated, aggressive, or indifferent. Deep loneliness filled me with a sadness that had no answer. My old tabby cat curled her body close to me and I muffled my tears into the pillow so my landlady wouldn’t hear.

    I felt such a failure. At fifty-five years old, I was seriously questioning my faith in God’s plan for my life. My trust was evaporating and I felt abandoned. If teaching a group of kids from a rough neighborhood was my current assignment from the Universe, I wanted to give it back. It wasn’t working for me, and if God hadn’t noticed how defeated I felt, I was about to tell Him. I needed an explanation, an apology for sticking the wrong person in the wrong place. I wanted a way out. Holding the warmth of my cat close to my heart, I closed my eyes, and prayed for help.

    I felt the quiet movement slip in and around me and my tears welled up. It felt as if I was being lifted into the arms of a beloved mother and wrapped in a velvet mantle. As my breathing slowed, and my unruly thoughts faded away, I became softer, still, and peaceful. My attention shifted inward.

    I sensed the familiar urging of my inner voice, and reached for the pen and small white pad on the nightstand next to my bed. As I wrote the message, there was a sense of urgency behind every word.

    A generation of children is living without the spiritual awareness of who they are, compromised in their Divine self-expression. When will the adults around them set them free? For when you allow each child to find a balance between their emotional, physical, and spiritual knowledge, they will give each of you a living example of all that you can be.

    Are you to just sit and watch them deny their holiness, and their beauty of spirit? Can no one accept that the young beings here among you carry within them a highly developed knowledge of spiritual truth? Indeed, it is time for society at large to educate themselves about today’s new children, and to look closely at the signs and wake up calls being delivered from distraught young children who are shouting loudly …

    ‘Help us return to love again for that is the path for humankind. Wake up! Materialism can no longer be the god before whom all genuflect. We are living proof that the love of God manifests daily through each one of us. If you teach us to live according to the lower instincts, we will reject what we are not! Unity, brotherhood, peace, beauty, and truth are the touchstones upon which we stand. Be ever mindful that the message we bring, however neglected, ignored, or denied by our parents, teachers, religious leaders, and government is never going to go away.

    We are a new prototype of a human being, and our soul purpose is to bring about a revolution within the consciousness of man. To that end, we are dedicating this manuscript as a manual for understanding the universal laws, practices, and wisdom needed for parenting God’s holy messengers. Read with an open mind because within these pages are principles for an enlightened age.’

    I sat staring at the message. I was hoping for a heaven-sent survival manual that would help me in the morning when my students walked into my classroom. I was well aware that more and more children were carrying a higher consciousness than ever before. But I wasn’t sure how to apply this understanding to the one hundred and twenty seventh graders I faced every day. Didn’t the Universe see how inadequate I felt just trying to get through my next class?

    I held this message in my heart, but at the time I was simply too focused on teaching my students. Right now I was working at ground zero, and it took all of my strength to face each day. Those words, help us return to love again, were to become the background music for a journey I was just beginning.

    Six years of teaching went by until I kept my appointment with the Universe. It was time to begin writing. My heart was bursting to express what I had seen and felt since I had returned to the classroom. I began sitting in meditation to see what God had to say on the matter. The love flowing through each word uplifted me. I was deeply concerned by what I had witnessed in our public school system. I have observed many highly intuitive, sensitive children, and they needed adults who could help them manifest their gifts. I wasn’t sure what I could do, but I felt a passionate need to do something.

    As I sat at my computer, it was clear I wasn’t in charge, for the words were dictated to me and flowed effortlessly. Still, I wondered how I would find time to write when so much of my energy was being poured into my students. I may have doubted being up for the task, but my inner voice was unwavering:

    Trust the information forthcoming. Believe in your ability to accurately describe the holy task of delivering a new generation of divine beings to a world in transition. These very children are holding together a new template of higher evolution. Work effortlessly, and be amazed at the speed with which this information will be transmitted. Leave work, walk, exercise, and allow for an ample amount of time to receive the information. All will happen beautifully, for it cannot be otherwise.

    I sat quietly and began writing about the children coming forward, who are gracing our planet with wisdom and love.

    Children of Light

    A child of Light is the embodiment of the Christed being, fully capable of realizing his and her potential. It is the beauty that each of you expresses when you honor the highest within you. No one is without the spark of light that is in all Creation. For the light within each of you contains your divinity, which remains forever constant. This truth is universal and without exception.

    During these days of transition, the light within you is rising as a consequence of your own evolution and desire to be fully awakened. Each will have the opportunity to awaken, and your own process will be guided by your heart. No one can do this for you. But you will know it is happening when you feel pulled to examine yourself and your life from a new perspective that will forever change who you are.

    Children of Light are recognizing the new reality and its consciousness at different levels of awareness, which account for the seeming separation that is occurring on this planet. Within this evolutionary process, the children are coming forward in a way that exemplifies the new consciousness. Without them you could not be witness to the beauty of your own evolution. They are the potential you are, and will be.

    Give every young child your full attention, and you will see in each of them, your holy self. They are the projection of the highest within you. That is the message behind the words in this book: That you and your children are one continuum of consciousness that is evolving toward a grander version of the Self you share.

    Indigo, Rainbow, Crystal, and other terms are currently being used to identify and describe the new generation of children in our midst. As a teacher, I am very sensitive to the practice of labeling children, for I have seen how it affects their innocence and feelings of self-worth. Spirit sees all children as holy and joined as One. We need to keep our hearts open as to the highest way to nurture every child’s inner Light.

    While writing this book, I was advised by my inner voice to use the title, Wisdom’s Children, as a way to include every child. Knowing that I may have to address the other terms that are being used today, I turned within and asked for guidance. This was the answer I received. My hope is that we honor all the children coming forward for their evolutionary intent, and the beauty of their individual gifts.

    The commonly used term, Indigo, is an inaccurate accounting of the ongoing evolution happening at this critical time. It is a term that unfortunately can label children without understanding the true meaning. The term may be confusing to the public. It superimposes a thought form that is a simple explanation for a complex process.

    The evolution of mankind always contains aspects of a higher consciousness in the form of new ideas that come forth through each generation. Therefore, every new generation contains individuals who are ‘aspects’ of the evolving consciousness. These individuals embody the form of DNA that contains a higher vibration. They release new thought forms that become manifest, and demonstrate an enlightened way of viewing Truth. Therefore, every new generation has its share of vibrational beings who raise mankind’s consciousness by their presence. It is the way of evolution, and some of these beings are not of this planet. They are ‘interjects’ from another dimension (higher reality) who release karmic patterns, and free human beings so that they can move into a higher vibration.

    Now, at this time, there are thousands upon thousands in this vibrational shift who are of an ‘interdimensional frequency’ that is beginning to uplift the karma that has accumulated over the past two thousand years. It is natural to assume that indigo represents these individuals because the term is considered a higher vibrational color, or frequency. The truth is that indigo as a term represents an ‘aspect’ of the high frequency generation, but not the Whole.

    It is imperative that all children are understood as higher frequency children, for that is their destiny. This is an unusual happening only because the past generations could not have held this energy. It would have resulted in a disastrous overload for each human.

    The course of evolution now requires intense energy for the uplift in consciousness to occur. Therefore, a change happened on a level beyond your present third-dimensional reality that allowed more and more individuals to incarnate who are carrying the heightened vibration. This means that humanity is being seeded with light beings who embody vibrational hues of many colors giving a full spectrum of energy patterns. Their vibration contains levels of ‘color’ that allow every human of every race to benefit from their higher consciousness. This will be the beginning of a more evolved form of human being.

    Remember, that every child now being born is carrying a higher vibration that has the potential to uplift humanity. None are without the brain chemistry necessary for higher thought. It is only their upbringing that will make the difference for the children who will be the peacemakers and new leaders for humanity. Therefore, understand that every child is a potential leader and has the capacity to bring about a level of healing unknown to this planet. None are without that capability unless the humans involved with their education and upbringing neglect their duty as their caretakers and fail to provide them with the love and guidance they require.

    Let all children be regarded as ‘lightworkers’ not just a designated few. Then the public will see that all children can become a force for Light. Love cannot be compartmentalized into a color, term, or label. Love embraces every form, shade, and hue. All the children are beautiful beings of Light with blessings to bestow.

    As far as using a term, be careful, for some children are already being categorized. Let no child be excluded, compared, or found lacking. For today’s high vibrational children carry within them the seeds of wisdom that give Light to the planet. Help them release that wisdom so all can benefit.

    It is time to gear up and help all children ‘remember’ their calling. A new generation of global thinkers is being birthed who will be able to reach beyond the current mindset and see themselves as citizens of the world. Observe each child with new eyes, and open up a discussion about how you can help them fulfill their destiny.

    New Pathways for Learning

    In the children, lies the sweetness of Life eternal.

    The educational system is experiencing a crisis … a breakdown of the old paradigm, which separated the heart, the mind, and the body. It is no longer a workable model and cannot remain in place. The old system prided itself on feeding knowledge to a population that required skills based on the five senses as the primary tools of learning. The current system however, is unable to accommodate today’s extraordinary children who are filling the classrooms worldwide. Indeed, there is a widening gap between the way information is taught, and the new children who possess an expanded range of sensory abilities. They find it increasingly difficult to learn in an educational system that is unable to recognize their gifts of higher perception. Therefore, new methods must be developed that synthesize the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of these children whose nature it is to respond to love, wisdom, and wholeness.

    Imagine a young child with heightened sensory abilities sitting in a classroom, full of wonder, open to the beauty around her, eager to stretch her mind, and learn. Yet, she finds it hard to understand what is being taught. There are words coming at her, but she can’t always make sense of them. They don’t feel right. She cannot put them together with her inner perceptions. Her teacher wants her to learn, but at times she has trouble focusing. Often the room is too noisy and she can’t seem to concentrate. The class is reading about dolphins and her heart is very open to them as beings of Light. Feeling an inward pull, she senses herself swimming with them, feels their bodies along side her, and looks into their eyes. All manner of images fill her mind and she sees every kind of dolphin. Her senses are alive with what she is hearing, feeling, and seeing. She immediately knows their plight, feeling what they feel when they are tangled
