Reggie stands in front of us, and he's angrier than he's ever been. Jason and I sit on the edge of one of the beds in the isolation cabin while Reggie lectures us on how to do our jobs and how to get along. I thought the two of you could get it together, he says. But I guess you can't. You two have left me no choice.

I see the look on Jason's pretty face. He's afraid and he's ready to get fired. But he's not used to being punished like this. I clench my fists and do what I know I have to. I take the fall.

It was my fault, sir, I say.

Jason looks at me in worry.

You broke the pipe? Reggie asks. It wasn't because you both fought like I'm assuming?
