When I first moved into the area to attend college last year, I became good friends with one of the college’s basketball players, DeMarcus. We met at the gym and started hanging out together, and then, when DeMarcus's roommate moved away, I became his new roommate. DeMarcus is the about the same age as me, just a couple months older.

DeMarcus is one of those quiet, subdued kind of guys. He’s not a showboat when he’s on the floor, even when he’s kicking ass on the opposing team. He’s the kind of player, and person, who lets his actions and not his mouth do the talking for him.

With his chocolate skin, shaved head, lean muscular 6’5" frame and infectious smile, DeMarcus is well liked by everyone, especially the ladies.
