These Words Insane, Feel My Pain - Brashawnda Burrus
ME?
WHY I WRITE
People ask me why I write,
I tell them, To heal my pain, because when I was young things wasn’t right.
I lived life ready to die at a young age
Because every day when I was in school I had to suffer like I was in a dark cage
I lied to my mom every other day just, so I wouldn’t have to attend school
Because I couldn’t take it I felt like a fool
I really cried every day every night every second every minute
Asking God can he come down and take me and not just for a visit…
That’s really painful
But God kept me in this world because he knew I was strong just like his
