God, he is gorgeous.

Emily was surprised to hear those words come from her own mouth. It just wasn't like her to be so taken by a man's appearance alone. But, this one stood out even among the well-dressed crowd at this sophisticated wedding reception.

Emily's friend, Carla, swept a scan across the crowd searching for the man who had captured her friend's attention. Which one are you talking about?

Over by the candy table, Emily answered, pointing toward a far corner of the room. The guy with curly hair standing right next to my cousin Billy.

Oh, yeah, Carla said with a sly tone of approval. I don't know him, but I think I should.
