DEDICATION.
This book is dedicated to the one who was, who is, and is to come. He alone gives inspiration and the grace to accomplish such. Thank you, Father.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.
My heartfelt gratitude goes to my parents who gave me the opportunity to learn how to read and write and my siblings who are always there to encourage me.
My appreciation also goes to Uncle Sogbesan who helped immensely with the editing. Also to Mrs. V.A.O. Oke, I say a big thank you.
PREFACE.
There is so much knowledge in the world today that one is almost tempted to say that nothing is unknowable. The Information Highway is replete with facts, figures and opinions and man indeed knows so much about things in heaven, on earth, under the earth and even the oceans.
But amazingly, man has continued to demonstrate such little knowledge of the essence of creation; man himself! Why am I here? How can I make my presence here fulfill the purpose of my creation? How can I attain true joy, peace and rest are some of the questions science, technology, the humanities and experience have not taught us yet.
This attempt is a bold move in the continuous search for Socrates’ charge Man, know thyself.
Dele Sogbesan.
INTRODUCTION
Life is quite unpredictable. Someone said when life hands you a lemon, make lemonade. But what if life hands you bile, can you make something out of that? I bet you still can, it depends solely on you. There is the need to wake up to the realities of life.

The morals, hygiene, discipline, extra-curricular activities were given top priority as well as the academic/school work. All these training coupled together produced disciplined, principled, respectable, versatile, hardworking and God fearing individuals. The society then had less trouble. It was serene and comfortable, indeed, the good old days. But alas, what do we have today? I am sure the picture is very clear. But then, do we fold our arms and keep looking? Certainly not.
All fingers are not equal. Not every child will have the opportunity to attend a private school. Would you now be at a disadvantage for attending a public school? The choice is yours. This information you have in your hands will set you apart if you make good use of
