About this ebook
Have you ever felt as though the world was weighing down on you? Like everything is against you? Depression can hit you like a truck and it's can be near impossible to pick yourself back up again. But you're not alone. Many prominent figures of the Bible have experienced depression. In this short article, a verse-by-verse commentary on 1 Kings 19, we look at the circumstances leading up to Elijah's depression and the steps taken in order to cope with it.
This article does not pretend to have a cure for depression. This is simply a Biblical look at depression and the offer of some coping mechanisms. Most importantly, the intention is for people to know they are not alone.
