Description

The topic of mental health is not an easy one. Not many people are open to sharing their feelings, but luckily my sweet husband opens up for us and shares some of his journey with struggling with mental health. There is nothing wrong with getting help for anxiety, depression, or any other mental emotion you may be feeling. If you were to go to the Doctor for a broken bone, then going to the doctor for mental help is just as important. Its ok to have depression, its ok to have anxiety, but the most important thing is that you realize that and get the proper help so you can get better.
People struggling with mental health is outlined throughout the whole Bible, Solomon had a moment where he hated life, Elijah became depressed and wanted to die, Jonah was so angry with God that he asked to die, Paul even went through such hard struggle at times that he didn't think he could handle life any further. But all of these men I named were some of the strongest in the Bible, they had struggles but most importantly they worked through them. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, even overcoming depression.

My goal for this podcast is to share the Gospel and teach scripture to you all through life experiences. I don't want you to think the Bible is this big confusing book. Each week I plan to break down some scripture and hopefully teach you something new. The Bible is alive and active so we all might learn something new together. I hope you enjoy!
