Being an engaging, confident speaker puts you on a path to success, both personally and professionally. How you deliver your presentation is imperative to successfully influence, impart information, and impact your audience.

An experience, effective speaker can touch a crowd's emotions with a simple deflection in their tone, the correct pause, or the right word at the right time.

The "born" speaker" myth is an alibi for not attempting to improve ones public speaking abilities. My ultimate goal is for readers to compose and convey an intriguing, clear, and pertinent presentation, while overcoming fears of the infrequent speaker.

    Foreword

    Great Speakers:

    Born or Made?

In any public speaking occasion, you can rely on some established formulas to ensure smooth-sailing and optimal outcomes. Speakers can look to many presentation formats to follow when addressing large groups. The way a presentation is delivered by the speech-giver to impart, influence, or entertain the audience is imperative to a successful reception by the audience. Read on to learn how you too can become a great public speaker.

Yes, great speakers are MADE, not born. In fact, you also believe this, or you wouldn’t be reading this book.

The born speaker myth is an alibi for not trying to improve your speaking abilities. People who believe this simply want to avoid any embarrassment a blundered talk may bring. In doing so, they become oblivious of the true power of practice.

A speaker is doing so for a reason. When you were a young child and first said, Mommy, I need a glass of water, you were making a speech. You’ve been making speeches from the time you could talk. The difference is that you didn’t refer to it in the (perhaps fearful) way that you do now. You can become a good speaker if you have these tools:

    A voice

A working vocabulary and knowledge of basic grammar

    Something to say

A need to express your ideas to others

You have been using these simple tools for years and calling it conversation. Your audience is merely a group of individuals. You can talk easily with one or two individuals. Think of public speaking as talking to individuals all at the same time or talking to the group as to one person. And, practicing public speaking with the right tools, like EasySpeakPro, can certainly take you to the next level.

    Introduction

Snake? Fine. Spider? No problem. Flying? Alright. Public speaking and presentation? Yikes!

However, it has been utilized as a communication tool throughout the history and remains foundational even today. Being an engaging, confident speaker puts you on a path to success, both personally and professionally.

We often don’t realize the ultimate power of public speaking because it is a source of anxiety for us. However, this should not be the case for you! This book will teach you how you can overcome your fear of public speaking, as well as how to
