Chapter One: Fruity

In this chapter, you will learn the recipes for:

Servings: 24

Ingredients:

1 delicious apple

1 egg

2 egg whites

¼ cup of unsweetened applesauce

1 cup of apple juice

1 box cake mix

For frosting

1 package cream cheese

1 box confectioners’ sugar

1 ½ tbsp frozen apple juice concentrate

Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees

Prepare cupcake cups with paper lining

Beat in a mixer on low speed the cupcake ingredients until smooth for 2 minutes

Fill cupcake cups with batter

Bake for 22 minutes and cool on pan rack

Beat cream cheese and apple juice concentrate using mixer till smooth

Beat the confectioners’ sugar on low speed to mix for 1 minute

Frost cupcakes

Serve

Name: Lemon

Servings: 12

Ingredients:

3 cups white sugar

5 eggs

3 cups of all-purpose flour

¾ cup of lemon lime soda

1 ½ cup of butter

2 tbsp lemon extract

For frosting

1 package cream cheese

1 box confectioners’ sugar

1 ½ tbsp lemon extract

Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees

Prepare cupcake cups with paper lining

Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl using mixer until smooth for about 15 minutes

Mix in the eggs one at a time and mix each until well blended

Stir in the lemon extract, flour, lemon lime soda

Fill cupcake cups with batter

Bake for 25 minutes and cool in a pan

Put in a mixing bowl, butter and cream cheese, pulse until smooth

Add lemon extract, pulse again until smooth

Frost cupcakes
