Introduction
For the record, I am no expert here. I am not a nutritionist or a dietician. But, I can tell you this: I have struggled with my weight for many years, and I have tried virtually everything under the sun in the past. If it was a hokey, weird sounding diet, I followed it. If there was a stupid gadget, gimmick or toy guaranteed
to get me to my best weight ever in a ridiculously short period of time, you can bet I was there, cash clutched in my pudgy fingers. Did any of it work? Why, my wallet was never thinner!
One day I was talking to someone, and I was amazed at seeing this woman stuffing a variety of vitamin tablets and supplements down her gullet. When she finally finished, she winked and said all those pills keep me stuffed until lunch time.
I heard myself ask her why she didn’t just eat healthier foods (and a little voiced volleyed that question right back at myself), and she said she did not have time.
A few weeks later this same woman and I were talking. She announced that she no longer swallowed dozens of vitamins every morning- instead she drank a glass of juice, and it was now part of her daily routine. Juice? You mean like orange juice. What’s so special about that? And that is when this woman explained how juicing all fruits and vegetables were changing her entire life.
I like to start my day with a power juice because I am not a big fan of eating first thing in the morning. My particular juice blend is not only tasty but doesn’t make me feel overly full or bloated so I can get right into my daily routine. It gives me more energy, and I know that even if I get sidetracked
