    Got Caught

    The Sequent

    ––––––––

On Sunday afternoon, arriving back from a relaxing week stay in the Cayman Islands, Stormie could not wait to get settled before contacting her little sister to discuss her dilemma.  It was Monday the next day and after several unsuccessful attempts of trying to reach Desiree, she decided to stop by the radio station to check on her.  Miles had to follow up on some business calls so he was going to be pretty occupied working in his study most of the afternoon.  Mid afternoon around 3 pm, Stormie appeared at the inimitable Girard Building in the prominent downtown area of Peoria then took the elevator up to the 8th floor to the KAUM101Jamz Radio Station.  She could hear Desiree's broadcast throughout the floor as she ambled down the hall towards the broadcast viewing window when she waved at her.

You're jamming with Desiree here at 101 Jamz!  That was Bill Withers – A Lovely Day and speaking of which, it is such a lovely day outside, too pretty to be inside I'll tell you that!  So get out and enjoy it!  Tell you what you might enjoy, y'all are aware of the Johnny Gill, Ne-Yo and Raheem DeVaughn concert coming to the Pelican Summit right?  Will I've got a pair of tickets to give away to the 9th caller!  So good luck!  She glanced waving back to Stormie through the glass and as soon as the off-the-air light went off the door open for Stormie to enter.

Oh, it was marvelous!  Fresh air, good food, it's a beautiful island for some peace and relaxation!  It was just what we both needed.

Well, that's good!  You look happy and refreshed!

I am Sis but I'm also worried about you!  I have been calling and calling you and you never answered.  You had me so worried, I didn't know what to think!  You were so hysterical when you called and what is this about you being pregnant before you hung up!  She whispered.

Yea I realized you were on vacation and I really didn't want to bother you with my issues so I just hung up.

Well, big sis is here now so what's going on?

"Stormie I don't know, I started feeling really squeezy, nauseated and throwing up!  I was so sick, I thought I had the flu or something and whatever it was I feared it had affected my cycle so I had to go to the doctor for a check up and that's when
