In pursuit of immortality, the human race has developed a method of resetting everyone back to the nubile age of twenty two. A key part of the process is hinged on swapping genders at the same time. While Carson wrings his hands during ominous government announcements, his neighbor, Emily, seems to be at peace with upcoming change. When the first siren goes off, Emily stops in to visit wearing nothing but a bikini and reveals that she's had feelings for Carson all along. The sirens increase and the two decide to ride out the Reset together...by riding one another.

      The first siren interrupted them, a warning signaling fifteen minutes before the start of the Reset. He’d lost track of time. Emily smiled.
