Over the years, God rewrote Carrie’s dreams from being a corporate accountant to being a writer. INTRODUCTION

In 2014 Kathy Barnett and I coauthored The Warrior's Bride: Biblical Strategies to Help the Military Spouse Thrive. The book went to press, and word began to spread about this wonderful new resource written by two military wives.

While we are very happy with the book, we realized shortly after its release that we forgot to mention a couple of topics near to the hearts of many military families. After a lot of prayer and some discussion, we decided that instead of taking another year to write a second book, we would simply write additional chapters and release them individually.
