Purpose of Title
Medicine is an ever-changing science.
Truths of yesterday are forgotten, as they promised so many careers of prominent professors.
One of those teachers in Geneva during the 70ties explained to his students, that only about 40% of what he was teaching at that time was really pertinent.
Remaining 60% would be proven earlier or later as fallacies.
Of course, he was unable to point as to which part of it.
Sinusitis is a good example of such philosophy.
With progression of imaging, we have acquired a deeper understanding not only of minute anatomy, but also a better insight in physiology and physiopathology
