A Letter of Concepts & Ideas - Calvin Harris
Dedication
First and far most, I like to thank the Lord Jesus for giving me the courage to be different in rising above my circumstances in becoming a better person. I would like to dedicate this book to not only to my daughters but to other children of the world. I hope and pray this book inspire and bring about awareness of social, economic and political issues that are relevant to our children future.
Introduction
I call this book The Letter
and to whom it may concern. Before I go on with my so-called seemingly profound thoughts, I pray that this message reaches you in a timely fashion and find you in good health as well as in good spirit. My motive for writing has become very vital to me in order to edify you or perhaps my future grandchildren, about who I am and in the process ignite conscious awareness within others as well. The fact is that you too can rise above your own circumstance despite any and all adversities you may encounter unexpectedly. My thoughts, feelings, and opinions will be written down in
no chronological order...so please do not become discouraged if it appears as though I’m having idle conversation. There is a method to my madness when it comes to writing you this Letter, whether I choose to relay the message subliminally or not. What I’m about to tell you is intricately connected like a spider web to capture your attention. Read carefully between the lines because my words will become clear to you, and I speak them without sugar coating.
To My Twins
To my twins,
From the beginning to the end.
Living my life without you two,
would be like living in sin.
The sky has no limit,
beyond the stars and moon.
Please don’t worry daddy’s
coming home soon.
To my twins,
what more can I say,
I think of you each and every day.
So I’m writing this poem just to say,
I love my twins and by the way,
When I look into your eyes,
a part of me can’t be denied.
––––––––
For you are my living alibi’s.
Paternal or not, you two are all I got
God knows that means a lot.
God took my heart, he split it in two
And gave one half to each of you.
Take care of my heart as I have done
and live your life under the sun.
To my twins, you make me smile,
You make me proud,
you make me feel as though I’m ten feet tall,
even when you drive me up a wall
but just letting you know
I love y’all.
To My Friend
To my friend
let me say how much you mean to me each day.
You’re more precious than an 18th century dime,
You’re more valuable than expensive wine,
Meeting you the pleasure been all mine.
To my friend,
just thanking you with mere words,
would be so incomplete, haven’t you heard.
You are so unique
I feel complete.
You’re my missing piece,
and
