About this ebook

In this food blog book I will be sharing with you my first six weeks of food blogging. Starting with showing you how to start a food blog, to my blogging diary, to my resources for food bloggers, our first income and traffic report and an extensive behind the scenes look at the first six weeks of food blogging.

This is your opportunity to watch over the shoulder of an expert as she shows you how food blogging should be done and how you can bypass a lot of things that are not necessary.

This story is also told by Samantha who has been an internet marketing expert for 10 hours and Dominic who has had more than 10 years work experience in the food industry as a chef.

If you're serious about taking up food blogging then I suggest you have a good read through this ebook.

    Welcome to my new ebook full of information about how to start a food blog. If you have landed on this page I must assume that like me you want to be a food blogger. You love food, you love the idea of working from home and you want to create recipes everyday instead of going to your boring job.

    Well thanks to landing on our page, today is your day for change and starting your very own food blog.

    Use the next few minutes to read through our guide to starting a food blog and let a new chapter in your life begin. Whether you want to create a vegan blog, a wholesome food blog, Paleo blog or even a chicken blog, then you’ve come to the right place.

    How To Start A Food Blog – The ABC Of Food Blogging

    Here are the three steps to becoming a food blogger

    A = Action

    B = Brand

    C = Content

    Action

    The first thing you need to do is take action. I know it sounds like a silly step, but you’ll find that for every 10 people that read this page only two of them will have a food blog within the next 30 days.

    There is no point saying that you are going to start a food blog, you actually need to get it started and enter the new chapter of your life.

    The first step in your taking action is to choose a domain name. Apart from about two all the domain names we’ve ever owned (which is a LOT) have come from the auctions on Godaddy.com. The reason for this is that they are aged domains so they already have a reputation on Google so they are great for traffic generating later on, on top of this it can also be rather hard choosing a domain name and this site gives you a lot of great ideas.

    When you go to the Godaddy.com auctions you want to search for expired domains until you find one that you like. It is an auctions site so you are bidding. But as long as you go for one with under 100 visitors a month, you can get some amazing aged domains for a very low price.

    This is how we got RecipeThis.com and it came with about 50 monthly visitors and is about 10 years old. It cost us $5 plus domain registration, so think about the bargains you can get.

    Here is an example of a search I did on Godaddy that resulted in me getting my domain name:

    If you look at the screenshot you’ll see that I follow these principles:

    Advanced search looks for domains that include my keyword

    Expired domains only
