Alice played with the straps on her brand-new high-heeled shoes as her mind wandered back to three days ago when she’d bumped into a very attractive red-haired beauty in a nightclub not far away in the main part of the thriving town. The woman had touched her thigh when she’d apologised, but Alice couldn’t get the sensation of another woman’s touch out of her mind. Not her touch anyway.

She always believed that she was straight and had only ever been with male lovers over the years. But there was something magical about this woman, something so powerful it took her breath away, a feeling so intense and new to her, she wanted to bottle that feeling to keep it close to her always. She looked out of the shoe shop’s window for any sign of her walking down the street. None. She felt a pang of sadness. Maybe she doesn’t shop in this area, she thought, feeling disappointed.

After thanking the shop assistant, a chatty and very likeable man she’d known for ages, she watched him wrap her shoes in fancy paper as he whistled a tune, place them into a box and then put it in a large fancy bag with the company name emblazoned across the front of it, along with a website address too. She’d purchased two pairs of gorgeous high heels from there today and couldn’t be happier. She’d saved up for them after working overtime in a hairdresser’s salon she’d been working in for a few months and felt that the expensive buy was well worth it. All the bills had been paid and she had extra left over.

After chatting with him for a while, she bid him farewell until the next time and waltzed out of the door, waving at him. He blew her a kiss and climbed up a ladder to sort through some boxes of a new batch which had arrived earlier that morning. Alice strolled down the street in her old pair of heels, excited at the thought of wearing her new ones as soon as she got back home. A flash of long red hair caught her eye as she came face to face with the woman who had captivated her a mere three days ago. They felt like years ago to her. She’d been waiting impatiently since and was so overjoyed to see her again she could barely contain herself.

Oh, I’m so sorry. I didn’t see you there, the stunning lady spluttered, her hand resting on Alice’s shoulder, sending electricity sparking throughout Alice’s body and mind. She also felt surprisingly happy about how this woman was making her feel.
