Maura K. Hill was born and raised in Ireland. After working in Ireland and the UK for several years, she relocated to the United States in 1995. She began her formal education in Biblical Koine Greek and Biblical Hebrew at Phillips Theological Seminary via the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma in 1996.  A diligent student of the Biblical Languages, Maura published her first Greek-to-English Translation and Study Guide to I Thessalonians in the Fall of 1997. Since then, she published many additional, original Greek-to-English translations and comprehensive study guides for the New and Old Testaments.     It is my desire to make known God’s Word and Will, so that people will have the opportunity to be saved, come to full knowledge of the truth, and live in accordance with God’s intention. God’s Word was and is and will continue to be Truth. It is the Word of Life.

    The words that the only true God spoke are the best words to communicate His thoughts. It is because of mankind’s interference, mistranslations, etc, of what God spoke and/or what was written down, and because mankind has removed himself in his thinking so far away from God’s thoughts and words, that I endeavor to help all of us come-back to the integrity and truth of what God says - His Word - His thoughts - His will.

    o Underlined text is used for the English word but when translated from the Greek word alla to show that it implies a strong contrast to that-which has just previously been stated, and/or to strengthen a command.

    o Underlined text is used for the singular form of the word you to distinguish it from the plural form of the word you which is not underlined.

    o Underlined text is also used for emphasis.

    o In order to communicate the fullness of the emphasis when the Greek definite article is repeated both with the noun and its adjective - for example: I Corinthians 15:4 the Greek is te hemera te trite, which literally means the day the third - I translate it as "the day, the third (day)."

    o Verbs in the imperfect tense are translated with the words used-to and then the meaning of the verb.

    o For example: used-to teach indicates that the one teaching spent time teaching, his action of teaching continued during a past time that is now finished for some reason, not that it was a quick one-time occurrence. The one teaching taught others taking time to teach, and he may have repeated his teaching at different times and in different ways. This tense is also used to historically describe past events relating what happened.

    o Verbs in the perfect tense are translated from Greek with a superscript number 2 immediately following the verb - for example: it was written². This tense indicates an action done during a past time and which has a present continuing result, meaning it is still the same at the time the verb was spoken or written. Therefore, this example could be translated as: it was written and continues written.

    o The noun love¹ or the verb to love¹ comes from the Greek word agape which is God’s kind of love.

    When the Biblical writers wrote, there were no punctuation marks, no chapter or verse divisions indicated, etc, as we see them today in many of our English Bible translations and versions. Therefore we must read the whole context of each particular passage of Scripture for thought-content to more clearly understand the truth of what has been written.

    Also, the original language was not English, and therefore when I may write that the writer said or wrote such and such, please understand that the writer actually spoke and wrote in the original language the equivalent to that-which I state in the English language to the best of my knowledge.

    I recommend that while reading this book, you also have your usual Bible and Biblical study materials open, so as to compare verses and gain greater understanding of the truth of God’s Word.

    Introduction to Mark

    The Book of Mark is one of four books that sets forth the four-fold earthly-life and death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. This book does not contain everything that Jesus said and/or did. It emphasizes the Lord Jesus Christ being God’s servant, and details his activities in service showing how he carried-out God’s intention.

    The name Mark refers to the writer’s last name and his first name was John. He was Barnabas’ nephew (his sister’s son) but some translate the Greek word as cousin instead of nephew in Colossians 4:10. Barnabas took Mark with him when Barnabas disputed and argued with the Apostle Paul and stopped their ministry together. However, at a later time Mark traveled back into Paul’s company to help Paul continue with his ministry (refer to Acts 12:12 and 25, 13:5 and 13, 15:37-40; II Timothy 4:11; and Philemon 1:24).

    Evidently Mark also spent time with the Apostle Peter who addressed him as Mark my son in I Peter 5:13. Mark had not been one of the twelve men with Jesus during his ministry prior to Jesus’ death.

    This book was written after the resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven and after the out-pouring of holy spirit on the day of Pentecost (refer to Acts chapter 2). Mark may have been Peter’s assistant (amanuensis, secretary) who actually wrote down what Peter spoke by revelation – receiving the information of what to write via his holy spirit-life (not from his intellectual memory).

    Word Translation

    Chapter 1

    ¹:¹Beginning of the good-message of Jesus Christ, son of God, .2according as it was written² in Isaiah, the prophet (Isaiah), "Look!, I apostle My angel before your face who will fully-prepare your way; .3a sound crying-aloud in the desert-place, you must prepare the way of (the) Lord, you must make his paths straight."

    .4John became baptizing in the desert-place and heralding-forth (the) baptism of repentance into (the) dismissal of sins; .5and all the Judean country and all the Jerusalemites used-to journey-out towards him, and they used-to-be baptized by him in the river Jordan expressly-agreeing (regarding) their sins;

    .6and John used-to-be having clothed-himself-with² hairs of a camel and a leather girdle around his loin, and eating locusts and wild honey; .7and he used-to herald-forth saying, "The (one) stronger-than me comes behind me, of whom I am not sufficient having bent to loosen the thong of his sandals.

    .8I baptized you with water but he will baptize you in holy spirit. .9And it came-to-pass in those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and he was baptized into the Jordan by John, .10and ascending immediately from the water he saw the heavens dividing and the spirit as a dove descending into him, .11and there became a sound from the heavens, You are My son, the loved¹ (son), in you I consider-it-good."

    .12And immediately the spirit threw him out into the desert-place, .13and he used-to-be in the desert-place forty days being tempted by satan, and he used-to-be with the wild-animals, and the angels used-to-minister to him. .14But after John being given-over, Jesus went into Galilee heralding-forth the good-message of God .15and saying that, The time was fulfilled² and the kingdom of God came-near²; you must repent and believe in the good-message.

    .16And passing beside the sea of Galilee he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon throwing-nets in the sea, for they used-to-be fishermen; .17and Jesus said to them, Come-this-way behind me and I will make you to become fishermen of men; .18and immediately having left the nets they followed him.

    .19And having advanced a little (distance) he saw James the (son) of Zebedee and John his brother, and themselves in the ship fully-equipping the nets, .20and immediately he called them, and having left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired-servants they went-away behind him. .21And journeying into Capernaum and immediately on the sabbaths, having gone into the synagogue, he used-to teach. .22And they used-to-be shocked on his teaching, for he used-to-be teaching them as having authority and not as the scribes.

    .23And immediately there used-to-be in their synagogue a man in an unclean spirit and it shouted-up .24saying, "What (is there) with us and with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Did you come to destroy us? I knew² you who you are - the holy-one of God! .25And Jesus censured it saying, You must be muzzled and go-out from him." .26And the spirit, the unclean (spirit) convulsed him, and having sounded a great sound it went-out from him.

    .27And all-people were marveled so-as to dispute-together towards themselves saying, "What is this - a new teaching according to authority - and he arranges-upon the spirits, the unclean (spirits) and they obey him?" .28And the thing-heard of him went-out immediately everywhere into the whole country-around of Galilee.

    .29And immediately having gone-out from the synagogue they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John; .30but the mother-in-law of Simon used-to-be lying-down having-a-fever, and immediately they say to him concerning her; .31and having come-towards (her) he raised her up having strongly-held the hand, and the fever left her, and she used-to minister to them.

    .32But (after) evening having come-to-pass, when the sun sank, they carried towards him all the (people) having badly and the (people) being devilized, .33and the whole city used-to-be gathered-together² towards the door; .34and he attended-to many-people having badly with variegated diseases, and he threw-out many devils and he used-to not leave the devils to utter-forth because they had known him.

    .35And very early in-night having stood-up he went-out and went-away into a deserted place and-there he used-to-pray. .36And Simon pursued him down and the (people) with him, .37and they found him and say to him that, All-people seek-after you. .38And he says to them, Let us lead into the country-cities having elsewhere in order that also there I may herald-forth, for with-a-view-to this I came-out.

    .39And he went heralding-forth into their synagogues into the whole of Galilee and throwing-out the devils. .40And a leper comes towards him encouraging him and kneeling and saying to him that, If-ever you may intend you are able to clean me.

    .41And having-compassion, having stretched-out his hand, he touched and says to him, I intend - you must be cleaned, .42and immediately the leprosy went-away from him and he was cleaned. .43And having been grave with him immediately he threw him out .44and says to him, "You must see (that) you may say nothing to not-one-person, but you must go point-out yourself to the priest and offer concerning your cleaning which-things Moses arranged-towards (people) for a witness to them."

    .45But the (man) having gone-out began to herald-forth many-things and to throughly-report the word, so-as-for him no-longer to be able manifestly to go into a city but he used-to-be outside on deserted places and they used-to-come towards him from-every-side.

    Chapter 2

    ²:¹And having gone again into Capernaum by means of days it was heard that he is in (the) house, .2and many-people were gathered-together so-as no-longer to make-space, not-even the (spaces) towards the door, and he used-to utter-forth the word to them. .3And they come carrying towards him a paralytic being lifted by four-people; .4and not being able to carry-towards him because-of the crowd, they roofed-away the roof where he used-to-be, and having dug-out they let-go the mattress where the paralytic used-to lie-down. .5And Jesus having known their belief says to the paralytic, Child, your sins are dismissed.

    .6But some of the scribes used-to-be there sitting-down and throughly-calculating in their hearts, .7Why does this-person utter-forth thus? He blasphemes. Who is able to dismiss sins except the one God?

    .8And immediately Jesus, having fully-known with his spirit that thus they throughly-calculate in themselves, says to them, Why do you throughly-calculate these-things in your hearts? .9Which is more-well-labored to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are dismissed,’ or to say, ‘You must rise-up and lift your mattress and walk’? .10But in order that you may have known² that the son of man has authority to dismiss sins on the earth - he says to the paralytic - .11to you I say: you must rise-up, lift your mattress and go into your house.

    .12And he was raised-up and immediately having lifted the mattress he went-out in-front-of all-people so-as-for all-people to be bewildered and to glorify God saying that, Thus we never saw. .13And he went-out again beside the sea and all the crowd used-to-go towards him, and he used-to teach them. .14And passing-by he saw Levi the (son) of Alphaeus sitting-down on the tax-office and he says to him, You must follow me. And having stood-up he followed him.

    .15And it comes-to-pass (for) him to lie-down in his house and many tax-collectors and sinners used-to lie-up-together with Jesus and his learning-disciples, for there used-to-be many-people and they used-to follow him. .16And the scribes of the Pharisees having seen that he eats with the sinners and tax-collectors used-to say to his learning-disciples, Why does he eat with the tax-collectors and sinners? .17And Jesus having heard says to them that, "The (people) being strong do not have a need of a healer but the (people) having badly; I did not come to call righteous-people but sinners."

    .18And the learning-disciples of John and the Pharisees used-to-be fasting and they come and say to him, Because-of-what do the learning-disciples of John and the learning-disciples of the Pharisees fast but your learning-disciples do not fast? .19And Jesus said to them, "The sons of the bridal-chamber are not able to fast in which (time) the bridegroom is with them; as-much time as they have the bridegroom with them they are not able to fast - .20but days will come whenever the bridegroom may be lifted from them and then they will fast in that day.

    .21Not-one-person sows-on a patch of un-fulled cloth on an old outer-garment, but if not it lifts the fullness, the new (fullness) from it, the old (outer-garment), and a worse division comes-to-pass; .22and not-one-person throws new wine into an old skin-container, but if not the wine will tear the skin-containers and the wine is destroyed and the skin-containers, but new wine (is thrown) into new skin-containers."

    .23And it came-to-pass-for him in the sabbaths to journey-by by means of the sown-fields and his learning-disciples began to make a way plucking the ears (of grain). .24And the Pharisees used-to-say to him, Look!, why do they do on the sabbaths that-which is not permitted?

    .25And he says to them, "Did you never read what David did when he had a need and he hungered - he and the (people) with him - .26how he went into the house of God on Abiathar chief-priest, and he ate the show-breads which it is not permitted to eat except the priests, and he gave also to the (people) being together with him? .27And he used-to-say to them, The sabbath came-to-pass because-of man and not man because-of the sabbath; .28so-that the son of man is Lord also of the sabbath."

    Chapter 3

    ³:¹And he went again into the synagogue and a man used-to-be there having the hand having been dried². .2And they used-to keep-closely-to him if on the sabbaths he will attend-to him in order that they may accuse him. .3And he says to the man, the (man) having the dried hand, You must rise-up into the midst.

    .4And he says to them, Is it permitted on the sabbaths to do a good-thing or to do-bad, to save a soul or to kill? But the (people) used-to be-silent. .5And having observed-around them with wrath, being caused sorrow-together on the process-of-hardening of their heart, he says to the man, You must stretch-out the hand. And he stretched-out and his hand was restored. .6And having gone-out the Pharisees immediately with the Herodians used-to-give counsel against him so-that they may destroy him.

    .7And Jesus with his learning-disciples departed towards the sea. And a big multitude from Galilee followed, and from Judea .8and from Jerusalem and from Idumea and (the) other-side of the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon a big multitude having heard as-many-things-as he used-to-do went towards him.

    .9And he said to his learning-disciples in order that a little-ship may be strong for him because-of the crowd in order that they may not pressure him, .10for he attended-to many-people so-as-for (them) to fall-on him in order that they may touch him, as-many-as used-to-have whippings; .11and the spirits, the unclean (spirits) whenever they used-to view him with-attention, used-to fall-towards him and used-to-shout saying that, You are the son of God - .12and he used-to-censure many (spirits) in them in order that they may not make him manifest.

    .13And he ascends into the mountain and calls-towards-himself whom he used-to-intend and they went-away towards him; .14and he made twelve, whom also he named apostles, in order that they may be with him and in order that he may apostle them to herald-forth .15and to have authority to throw-out the devils; .16even he made the twelve and put-on Simon (the) name Peter, .17and James the (son) of Zebedee and John the brother of James and he put-on them (the) name Boanerges which is ‘sons of thunder,’ .18and Andrew, and Philip and Bartholomew, and Matthew and Thomas, and James the (son) of Alphaeus and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite .19and Judas Iscariot who also gave him over.

    .20And he went into a house and the crowd again came-together so-as-for them not to be able neither to eat bread; .21and having heard the (people) from him went-out to strongly-hold him, for they used-to-say that, He is bewildered.

    .22And the scribes, the (scribes) from Jerusalem having descended, used-to-say that, He has Beelzebul and that, In the ruler of the devils he throws-out the devils. .23And having called them towards-himself he used-to-say to them in parables, "How is satan able to throw-out satan? .24And if-ever a kingdom may be distributed on itself - that kingdom is not able to be caused-to-stand; .25and if-ever a house may be distributed on itself - that house will not be able to be caused-to-stand; .26and if satan stood-up on himself and was distributed - he is not able to stand but he has a completion.

    .27But not-one-person having gone into the house of the strong-person is not able to throughly-catch-away his vessels except firstly he may bind the strong-person and then he will throughly-catch-away his house. .28With-certainty I say to you that all-things will be dismissed from the sons of men, the sins and the blasphemies as-many-as if-ever they may blaspheme, .29but who ever may blaspheme into the Spirit, the Holy (Spirit), does not have dismissal into the age but is liable of agelong sin - .30because they used-to-say, He has an unclean spirit."

    .31And his mother and his brothers come and standing-firm outside they apostled towards him calling him. .32And a crowd used-to sit-down around him and they say to him, Look!, your mother and your brothers seek-after you outside. .33And having answered them he says, Who is my mother and my brothers? .34And having observed-around the (people) sitting-down circling around him he says, Look!, my mother and my brothers; .35who ever may do the intention of God - this-person is my brother and sister and mother.

    Chapter 4

    ⁴:¹And again he began to teach beside the sea, and (the) most crowd (of all the people) gather-together towards him so-as-for him having embarked into a ship to sit-down in the sea, and all the crowd used-to-be towards the sea on the earth.

    .2And he used-to-teach them in many parables and he used-to-say to them in his teaching, .3"You must hear; look!, the (person) sowing went-out to sow, .4and it came-to-pass in the sowing: (there was seed) which indeed fell beside the way and the birds came and devoured it; .5and other fell on the rocky-place where there used not be much earth and immediately it arose-out because-of not having depth of earth, .6and when the sun arose it was scorched and because-of not having a root it was dried; .7and other fell into the thorns and the thorns ascended and strangled it together and it did not give fruit; .8and others fell into the earth, the beautiful (earth), and used-to-give fruit, ascending and being increased, and used-to-carry one thirty and one sixty and one hundred."

    .9And he used-to-say, Who has ears to hear he must hear.

    .10And when he became according to only (themselves), the (people) around him together with the twelve used-to-ask him the parables; .11and he used-to-say to them, "To you the mystery of the kingdom of God was given²; but to those, the (people) outside, all-things become in parables .12in order that observing they may observe and they may not see, and hearing they may hear and they may not understand, lest-perhaps they may turn-back-upon (God) and it may be dismissed from them."

    .13And he says to them, "You did not know² this parable - and how will you know all the parables? .14The sower sows the word; .15but these are the (people) beside the way where the word is sown, and whenever they may hear immediately satan comes and lifts the word, the (word) having been sown² into them; .16and these are the (people) on the rocky-places being sown, the (people) whenever they may hear the word immediately with joy they receive it .17and they do not have a root in them but they are temporary, then (after) pressure or persecution having come-to-pass because-of the word immediately they are caused-offense;

    .18and others are the (people) being sown into the thorns, these are the (people) having heard the word .19and the anxieties of the age and the deceit of the wealth and the intense-yearnings concerning the remaining-things journeying-into (them) strangle-together the word and becomes fruitless; .20and these are the (people) on the earth, the beautiful (earth), having been sown, the-people-who hear the word and accept (it) and bear-fruit one thirty and one sixty and one hundred."

    .21And he used-to-say to them, "The lamp does not come in order that it may be put under the bushel-container or under the bed, does it? (It comes) in order that it may be put on the lamp-stand, doesn’t it? .22For there is not a hidden-thing except in order that it may be manifested, nor a hidden-away-thing came-to-pass but in order that it may come into a manifest-thing. .23If someone has ears to hear he must hear. .24And he used-to-say to them, You must observe what you hear: in the measure you measure it will be measured to you and it will be added to you, .25for he-who has it will be given to him, and he-who has not also that-which he has will be lifted from him."

    .26And he used-to-say to them, "Thus is the kingdom of God as a man may throw the sowing-seed on the earth .27and may lie-down-asleep and may rise-up night and day and the sowing-seed may sprout and may grow-long as-that he did not know² it - .28automatically the earth bears-fruit, first grass, then an ear (of grain), then full wheat in the ear - .29but whenever the fruit may give-over immediately he apostles the sickle because the harvest presented² (itself to him)."

    .30And he used-to-say, "How may we liken the kingdom of God or in what parable may we put it? .31As a kernel of mustard which whenever it may be sown on the earth being smaller of all the seeds, the (seeds) on the earth, .32and whenever it may be sown it ascends and becomes greater of all the tilled-herbs and makes great branches so-as-for the birds of the heaven to be able to lodge under its shadow."

    .33And with many parables of-this-kind he used-to utter-forth the word to them according as they used-to-be-able to hear, .34but without a parable he used-to not utter-forth to them but privately to his own learning-disciples he used-to-loosen all-things. .35And he says to them in that day (after) evening having come-to-pass, Let us go-through into the other-side.

    .36And having left the crowd they take him beside (themselves) as he used-to-be in the ship and other ships used-to-be with him. .37And a great storm of wind came-to-pass and the waves used-to throw-on into the ship so-as-for the ship already to be-full; .38and he used-to-be lying-down-asleep in the stern on the pillow; and they raise him up and say to him, Teacher, it is a concern to you that we are being destroyed, isn’t it?

    .39And having been throughly-raised-up he censured the wind and said to the sea, You must be silent, you must be muzzled². And the wind ceased and a great calmness came-to-pass. .40And he said to them, Why are you cowardly, not-yet you have belief? .41And they were caused-to-fear a great fear and they used-to-say towards one-another, Who consequently is this-person because even the wind and the sea obey him!

    Chapter 5

    ⁵:¹And they came into the other-side of the sea into the country of the Gerasenes; .2and (after) his coming-out from the ship immediately a man in an unclean spirit met him from the memorial-places, .3who used-to-have the dwelling-down-place in the memorials, and not-one-person no-longer used-to-be-able to bind him with a chain .4because-of him often to have been bound² with fetters and chains and the chains to have been pulled-asunder² by him and the fetters to have been crushed², and not-one-person used-to-be-strong to tame him, .5and by means of every night and day in the memorials and in the mountains he used-to-be shouting and cutting himself down with stones.

    .6And having seen Jesus from a distance he ran and worshipped him, .7and having shouted with a great sound he says, "What (is there) with me and with you, Jesus son of God the Highest? I adjure you (by) God not to torment me; .8for he used-to-say to it, You must go-out" - the spirit, the unclean (spirit) from the man, .9and he used-to-ask him, "What (is) a name to you? And it says to him, Legion (is) a name to me because we are many."

    .10And it used-to-encourage him many-things in order that he may not apostle them outside of the country. .11But there used-to-be there towards the mountain a great herd of pigs feeding. .12And they encouraged him saying, You must send us into the pigs in order that we may go into them. .13And he permitted them. And having gone-out the spirits, the unclean (spirits) went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the cliff into the sea, as two-thousand, and they used-to-be strangled in the sea.

    .14And the (people) feeding them fled and announced into the city and into the fields, and they came to see what is the-thing having come-to-pass². .15And they come towards Jesus and view-with-attention the (man) being devilized sitting-down having been clothed² and soundly-thinking, the (man) having² the legion, and they were caused-fear. .16And the (people) having seen how it came-to-pass with the (man) being devilized and concerning the pigs told them. .17And they began to encourage him to go-away from their boundaries.

    .18And (during) his embarking into the ship the (man) having been devilized encouraged him in order that he may be with him; .19and he did not leave him but says to him, You must go into your house towards your-people and you must announce to them as-many-things-as the Lord did² to you and He was merciful-towards you. .20And he went-away and began to herald-forth in Decapolis as-many-things-as Jesus did to him and all-people used-to-marvel.

    .21And (after) Jesus having passed-through in the ship again into the other-side a big crowd was gathered-together on him and he used-to-be beside the sea.

    .22And one of the chiefs-of-the-synagogue comes, Jairus by-name, and having seen him falls towards his feet .23and encourages him many-things saying that, "My little-daughter lastly has (her life) - in order that having come you may put the hands on her in order that she may be saved and may live." .24And he went-away with him and a big crowd used-to-follow him and used-to-pressure him together.

    .25And a woman being in a flowing of blood twelve years - .26and having suffered many-things by many healers and having spent all the-things from her and having been profited nothing but rather having come into the worse (state) - .27having heard concerning Jesus, having come in the crowd from-behind, touched his outer-garment, .28for she used-to-say that, "If-ever I may touch (him), even-if-ever his outer-garments, I will be saved"; .29and immediately her spring of blood was dried and she knew that she was healed² in the body from the whipping.

    .30And immediately Jesus having fully-known in himself the ability having gone-out from him, having been turned-back in the crowd used-to-say, Who touched my outer-garments? .31And his learning-disciples used-to-say to him, You observe the crowd pressuring you together, and you say, ‘who touched me’?

    .32And he used-to observe-around to see the (woman) having done this-thing; .33but the woman - having been caused-fear and trembling, having known² that-which came-to-pass² in her - came and fell-towards him and said to him all the truth; .34but he said to her, Daughter, your belief saved² you; you must go into peace and you must be sound from your whipping. .35Yet (during) his uttering-forth they come from the chief-of-the-synagogue saying that, Your daughter died; why yet do you harass the teacher?

    .36But Jesus having disobeyed the word being uttered-forth (from them) says to the chief-of-the-synagogue, You must not be fearful; only you must believe. .37And he did not leave not-one-person with him to follow-together except Peter and James and John the brother of James; .38and they go into the house of the chief-of-the-synagogue and he views-with-attention a tumult and (people) crying and clanging many-things.

    .39And having gone-into (the house) he says to them, Why are you being-tumultuous and crying? The young-child did not die but she lies-down-asleep.

    .40And they used-to laugh him down. But he having thrown-out all-people took-beside (himself) the father of the young-child and the mother and the (three learning-disciples) with him and he journeyed-into where the young-child used-to-be; .41and having strongly-held the hand of the young-child he says to her, Talitha koum - which is being translated ‘Little-girl, to you I say: you must rise-up’ - .42and immediately the little-girl stood-up and used-to-walk for she used-to-be twelve years. And immediately they were bewildered with a great bewilderment. .43And he directed them many-things in order that not-one-person may know this; and he said to be given to her to eat.
