What the Outlaw Desires MC Romance - Samantha Leal

    1.

Jenna opened the car door and swung her bag across the seat so hard it hit the other side. She didn’t have much time. If she didn’t leave soon, she may never make it.

She climbed behind the wheel, slid in the keys and started the ignition. Somewhere behind her she was sure she could hear him calling her name.

Don’t look back, she told herself. Just get the fuck out of here.

As she screeched out of the driveway and floored it out of the street and towards the highway, her heart was pounding so loud she could hear the blood pumping through her ears.

She didn’t know whether he was on to her, whether he had realized that she was gone, or whether he would wake up when the booze wore off and discover her clothes and car missing. He become moody and withdrawn, he criticized her over everything she did and it wasn’t long before he started on her looks. He poked fun at her luscious curves instead of adoring them, and even though he used to take care of her, he was rapidly turning into someone focused on doing the opposite.

Sean was a man who liked inflicting pain and suffering, and Jenna had paid the price. He had beaten her black and blue on more than one occasion and she had finally snapped and decided enough was enough.

As she drove through the night, she felt empowered. She was taking charge of her destiny and heading out into the great unknown. She had no idea where she was heading, but she knew she had to put as much distance between her and Sean as possible, and she was determined to start over. There was no way she was going to let him find her. He’d blown his chance, and now he was going to have to learn to live without her.

After several hours behind the wheel, she noticed the fuel was running low and her eyes felt heavy. She lowered
