INTRODUCTION
Rachel Watson is living a depressed and booze-filled life from last few years. Her husband has abandoned her at got married to someone else and she was fired from her job. But, she daily travels from her home to London just to make herself busy. One of the train stops passes through her earlier neighborhood where a couple lives in a beautiful house and appears to be perfectly happy and content in their relationship, she spies on them. She fantasizes them to be her neighbor and visualizes stories around her and the couple is named ‘Jason’ and ‘Jess’. This helps in diverting her mind away from the troubles she is facing.
One day, she saw ‘Jess’ kissing someone else and the next day ‘Jess’ disappeared. Rachel got confused that whether she should share these details with someone or not.
She felt herself deeply connected with the case and participated curiously in the investigation. She became a crucial part of the investigation. She tried hard to recuperate her memory, so that she can help in enlightening the events occurred on the day ‘Jess’ got disappeared.
The twist and turns of the case revealed that everyone involved in the investigation is hiding something. Rachel came to know that the ideal life of ‘Jason’ and ‘Jess’ had many complications, contradicting her imagination. The complexity of the case increases with the revelation of the secrets. Rachel’s suspicions were transferred from one character to the other and when the truth was revealed, Rachel got stunned and surprised.
