About this ebook

What's a vampire to do to liven things up?

Mike is handsome, muscular, and looks 23. Unfortunately, almost 40 years as one of the undead have left him solitary and bored.

Delivering pizza gives him something to do and provides a safe source of prey, coordinated with a wink by the vampire owner of the pizzeria.

One night his un-life changes when he delivers to the gorgeous Susan and falls hard for her.

What was supposed to be a vampire/victim relationship becomes a passionate encounter. Then things twist even further when Mike realizes Susan is very far from what he expected.

Just who is using who, and how will the long night end?

This straight adult tale contains sex, mild bondage, vampire blood lust, and an exchange of bodily fluids.

    About the Author

    Blood and Pizza

    O rder up!

Mike jerked awake at the brassy grating of Mindy’s voice at full volume and dropped the book that he’d been reading. He hadn’t even realized that he’d dozed off.

Mindy was staring at him with a scowl on her face, more of concern than anger. Mike stood up and stretched, cracking his back with audible pops and shrugged. What could he say? He was feeling kind of concerned himself. He used to be able to stay awake all night, but lately it seemed like he was dozing off all the time. He never slept for a long stretch, but it was frequent.

Mike refused to believe that it was because he was getting old. He was technically getting older. He was over 60 now, but he still looked like a man in his early 20s. Time wasn’t supposed to matter to him anymore, or so they said. The council members were all well over a hundred years old, some were rumored to be over a thousand, and they would know if there were any age-related problems. Maybe he was just bored.

That must have been a really great book you were reading there, Mindy said sarcastically.

It was very good, actually. Salem’s Lot by Stephen King. The author got most of the vampire stuff wrong of course, but it was a gripping story with interesting characters. Mike held it up to show her the cover, and she scoffed.

Another bullshit vampire novel. Read something decent for a change.

Mike shrugged again. He’d been on a kick lately reading every vampire novel and short story that he could get his hands on. It was interesting seeing how different authors interpreted the legends. I like seeing what they say about us, he said. And it’s good to know what people think we are compared to what we really are.

Mindy shook her head. Give me a good romance novel any day. Doesn’t matter. What does matter is this pizza is getting colder by the minute.

She was dramatizing as usual. She’d slipped it into a heating pouch as soon as she’d sliced and boxed it. Between the insulation and battery-powered heating coil, a pizza could stay hot for an hour at least. Though Mike supposed there was something to be said for freshness.

He set the book aside and crossed the room to the counter. As he drew near, he caught a whiff of the strong aroma seeping out of the pouch.

Geez Mindy, did you use a whole bulb on that one?

"She wanted double-extra garlic. I asked if she was sure, and she said load it on. So, there you
