Ron C Belliveau

Ron C Belliveau’s artistic influences began at the age of ten when he began playing accordion which lead to piano and finally a composition and arranging degree from Berklee School of Music in 1970. He started performing at the age of 16 with rock bands and after receiving his degree toured for two years. For personal reasons he left music performing as a career to develop a position with more stability and continued to compose and produce music informally for thirty years. It was during the transition from music that he began seriously inquiring into philosophy and meditation and was involved in many different communal and spiritual journeys.He was formally trained in meditation in 1974 and continues today to explore contemplative and meditative interests. After exploring many spiritual denominations Ron settled into Quakerism.His life has centered on his family, a career in regional sales engineering, and writing and composing music.He has had times of success and times of loss which have helped him realize that life is not about success or failure; it is about goodness and love.He has inspired many and continues to inspire and help people explore options for accepting, exploring and appreciating our evolutionary life's journey.

There are many authors and teachers that have inspired me through out my life and to mention all of them would take another lifetime. I would like to recognize some of the most important ones in my life. My father, Roland G Belliveau lived his life with great pride for his work and family and unfortunately his life had some major obstacles but through his example I learned how to deal with adversity and hardship when times became difficult to accept. No words can express my gratitude to him for all his special gifts.
