He has travelled extensively, both within Australia as well as many European and Asian countries. In his early twenties, David crossed the entire African continent by road from North to South.

Chapter 1
1977
The group of six men were huddled inside the small factory that was bare save for the white van that was poised ready to go by facing the exit door.
Now, is everybody clear on what they are to do?
asked Ron, the leader of this group of soon to be robbers.
Heads nodded from all as they looked at Ron and each other. They were pumped up and ready to go.
Just remind me Simon what you are to do.
When Harry opens the door, he hands me the bag. I take the bag, without saying a word
said Simon with a smug smile, then I open the back door of the van and put the bag inside. I close the door then walk off, without looking
another smug smile, then walk around the corner into the arcade, out the other end and down to the station and take the next train out.
A big grin appeared on Simon’s face.

said Ron hoping that Simon would not panic when the actual moment came about. Simon was not the smartest person going around but he was a key player if they were to get away with this. Ron had worked out the plans down to the minutest detail but even he knew anything could go wrong and Simon was
