    Jason's Luck - M. Girls

    Chapter 1

Melody Zamora pulled into a parking spot in the vast parking lot at California State University. With shake hands, she grabbed her purse, got out of her car and walked up to the building she was there for. Half way up the walk, however, she stopped and stared at the tall building. She didn’t know how long she stood there, if it was a couple minuets or a few hours. She was so unsure if this was really what she wanted to do with her life now that she had moved to California. See going back to school was never in the plans forMelody .Her plans after high school were to be free of the life she had growing up. She wanted to make something of herself based on her own merits. She wanted to make her own rules and live her own life. Not that she was a rebel, mind you. She grew up in a good home with great parents, an older sister and a younger brother. It was just that she always did what was expected of her. Never bending the rules, always playing it safe. However, she always felt like an outsider looking in. Melody never seemed to fit in. She listened to her parents and did what she was told. What was expected? Her parents had her future all planned out, and they would never listen to a word she said. That was part of what the fight with her parents that summer after graduation was all about. A fight that would change the course of her life.

With a loud sigh, she pulled herself together and finally walked up to the admissions office. No more stalling Melody, it’s time to make something more with your life. It’s time to start the next chapter, she thought to herself. Up until know she had just been working minimum wage jobs and living her own life. She had a trust fund, and her parents didn’t cut her funding, but she refused to use any of their money. If she was going to be free and live her life, she was not going to take anything from them. It was time to do more with her life and make more for herself. To prove to her parents that she could and even more importantly to herself. Little did she know just how much things were going to change and that it might be more than she bargained for.

As Melody walked into the building, she was surprised to see very few people. She walked up to a map on a wall, across from the entryway, trying to find where she needed to go. As she was looking at the map trying to make heads or tails of it, she jumped at a tap on the shoulder.

Hello! Do you need some help, a deep voice behind her said.

Melody spun around so fast she knocked into the person that tapped her shoulder.

I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to… Melody began as she righted herself but as she looked up at the person, she knocked into her breath caught. Never in her wildest dreams was she prepared for the gorgeous man she had just knocked into.

Melody took him all in and oh my god was he good looking. She had seen good looking men before but nothing like this. He had to be at least 6 feet tall, body like a god in his tailored outfit, but his body was not the only thing yummy on the man, his dark hair, golden brown eyes, and the most amazing smile made him drool worthy

Are you ok miss? He said as he held out his arms to help her.

    Melody just blinked.

Umm, ma’am are you ok? He asked dropping his hand.

That seemed to knock her out of her daze.

I'm ok just started, I didn’t expect to see someone that looks like they just walked out of a photo shoot? said Melody

    He chuckled.

I didn’t mean to scare you. You looked a little lost. Are you new around here? Was there somewhere I could show you to?

Yeah, your place, she mumbled under her breath.

I’m sorry, what did you say?

Nothing, I was looking for the registrar’s office to fill out papers so I can start here.

I can show you, it’s a little tricky. I’m Chris by the way.

I’m Melody, and that would be great.

As she nodded her agreement, he put a firm hand on her back. She flinched at the initial contact but immediately relaxed as warmth spread through her at the contact. If he noticed, he didn’t show it just pushed a little in the right direction.

Two halls and a staircase later....

    Here we are.

Thank you. I greatly appreciated it.

No problem, this might be a bit forward but why don’t you join me for dinner tonight. Being new in town there are some really great places I can show you. Chris said with a megawatt smile.

With that smile, Melody didn’t stand chances all bets were off.

Sure why not. She said back with a smile of her own.

They exchanged numbers, and his phone began to ring.

I have got to take this, but I’ll call you later with all the details.

Okay.,He headed away while he answered his phone and she turned into the registrar’s office.

    Chapter 2

Rebecca Gambino has never expected to have a real relationship. After walking away from her family and their mysterious activities, she had nothing and no one. She was just another dark haired beauty working at a bar. Until she met wild and crazy Chris Salvador and everything changed. Meeting him was the best thing that ever happened to her and now that they were an official couple nothing could keep them apart.

Rise and shine sleepy head, Rebecca called with a laugh in her voice and a smile on her lips.

Why don't you come back to bed, Chris said with mischief on his face.

I have to be at work in an hour and aren’t you supposed to be seeing your academic advisor about your classes this morning.

Yes, but not till 11, mother, he teased.

It's already 9:30 and campus is an hour away.

    I'm up. I'm going.

Unfortunately, all he had was his clothes from their elegant evening out last night.

Oh well, it will have to do.

He quickly dressed and slipped out of the room ready to go. He gave Rebecca what was supposed to be a quick kiss goodbye, but quickly turned into a tug a war with their mouths. As he ran his hand down her back, over her hips, and lower still, she pushed him away.

If you don't leave now I’m going to have to rape you. She panted as her panties were already starting to get wet.

You can't rape the willing, baby, he teased.

Go or you’re going to be late.

Fine then, but I don’t understand why you keep that job. I have more than enough money for the both of us, he said with a pout that didn't quite meet his eyes.

I keep it because I like the tips. She said with a teasing smile. Now go! See you tonight for dinner?

You might, but I don’t, and yes, I will be here to pick you up at 7. He said as he walked out the door.

Lucky for him he drove to her place last night, so his car was parked right out front. He drove a sleek and stylish black sports car. Although it wasn’t flashy by any means, it definitely said: let’s drive.

Traffic was extremely light today so Chris made it to the school with 20 minutes to spare. As he walked into the admissions building, he saw a pretty girl looking a little lost. He figured, ‘what the hell I have a few minutes I can help her out.'

Just as he finished helping her out, his phone rang. Chris answered his phone and turned away continuing towards his academic adviser's office.

    Chapter 3

    Hello, Chris said.

    Chris I have great news.

    What’s up Jason?

I got done with my meetings early so I can fly to Cali tonight!

That’s great bro, but I have plans for tonight.

    Really!?!?! Dinner with Rebecca AGAIN.

Just as Chris was about to answer horror struck him. He had made plans with Rebecca this morning for dinner, and he made plans with Melody, the young lady that he had met on his walk to the registers office for dinner. He didn’t know how he was going to get out of this pickle. As he wondered what he was going to do, he heard his brother’s voice.

Hello, earth to Chris. Are you still there? Jason said annoyed.

Ya, I'm still here. Sorry I just remembered something, said Chris slightly distracted.

What’s up bro? Jason’s voice is sounding worried.

All of a sudden Chris got a brilliant idea.

What time can you be here Jason? Chris sounded bright.

Huh? Jason said confused at the change in his brother’s voice.

What time can you be here? Chris repeated

Four your time. Why? Jason said cautiously

Just get here I'll explain later.

    But …But… But......

Just get here, Chris said slightly annoyed

Fine. I'll see you soon Jason said finally

They both hung up just as Chris walked in for his meeting.

    Chapter 4
