Embracing Life's Changes With Focus and Faith
()
About this ebook
As you embrace life changes, both the good and the bad, remember God's words in Isaiah 55:8-11: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: so shall my Word be that goes forth out of my mouth, it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Focus on the promises of God for your life. Know that you are a son or daughter of the Most High God and nothing in your life happens unless God allows it. When we don't understand why, we must have faith in our heavenly Father who made us, knows us intimately and desires that we have good success and not failure.
God will use the changes of life, with its problems and pressures, to strengthen your character, make you wiser, and give you beauty for ashes.

Dedications
This book is dedicated to God, my Heavenly Father, who loved me so much that He sent His only begotten Son for my salvation so that I would not perish but have everlasting life. Lord, Your unconditional love has sustained me through every life change I have experienced on this journey. All glory, honor and praise to you, Father!
To my husband, Pastor Charles E. Brannon, Sr., who for twenty-six years gave me love, respect, friendship, and support; and also treated me like his queen. The love we shared could only be divinely orchestrated by God. I give Him the glory for the gift of you to me.
To our children: Eric and his wife Angie; Sharice and her husband Michael; Charles, Jr. and his wife Lisa; and Kevin and his wife Quanika.
To my grandchildren: Eric Jr., Leandria, Christopher, Brandon, Sasha, Michael, Maya, Sharelle, Antonio, Alysha, Charles III, Chalya, Jessie, Jalisa, Jessica, Deja and Keira.
To my great-grandchildren, Brandon and Christopher: Always know that your past mistakes do not define you. You are who God says you are. As you submit to His will and plan for your life, He’ll be the wind beneath your wings and help you soar above every obstacle to the fulfillment of your destiny in His Kingdom. I love you all.
To my only sibling, Lorraine. Thank you for being there for me when I’ve needed you. I love you much.
Foreword
I have been privileged to know and love Dr. Constance M. Brannon for many years. During this time I have had the opportunity to walk with her and witness many of the writings of this book. I have witnessed first hand and seen her faith and commitment tested beyond comprehension. Yet, she has come through unbelievable pain and challenges to now serve others even stronger than before. Dr. Brannon has chronicled her story and journey events into a lesson and ministry tool of perseverance, tenacity, unshakable faith, and focus.
