About this ebook

The majority of horoscopes in current use are terribly wrong. Why? Because spiritual birth times, which are essential to producing an accurate horoscope according to Edgar Cayce, occur up to four-and-a-half hours before physical birth. That difference leaves aspects between planets about the same, but shifts all house cusps backward by up to one or two signs. Compared with most of today's faulty horoscopes, these "perfect horoscopes" match personas with awesome precision and provide greatly enhanced forecasting capabilities.
This revolutionary book on astrology shows you how to (1) arrive at spiritual birth times, (2) apply two other fundamentals of astrology currently omitted from most horoscopes, and (3) verify your now totally functional horoscope.Topics covered in this book include: Who in recorded history may have been responsible for the mistakes of astrology, and its subsequent fall from grace; How to calculate accurate, soul-chosen horoscopes; What steps can be taken to verify a soul chosen horoscope; Why progressions-not transits-mark the stepping-stones of life; When horoscopes can be used to confirm fundamentals and reject damaging false ideas (such as the "first breath" theory); Which concepts will change as we move from the Piscean Age of tolerant opinions to the Aquarian Age of benevolent intelligence.

The Perfect Horoscope - John Willner

    Westin

    Preface

The Perfect Horoscope is a sequel to Edgar Cayces Astrological Revelations. It was written to describe important elements of a definitive, advanced form of astrology, whose principles are in agreement with Edgar Cayce’s readings. If intelligent human beings can accept the profound truths he offered, then the form of astrology described herein should likewise meet with their approval. Previous objections to astrology have been carefully reviewed, questionable practices have been analyzed, and a succinct approach is offered that replaces the present quagmire of generalities and counterproductive opinions. Every step has been tested many times, and the consequences have been extraordinary in portraying the nature of each soul. This is a dependable form of astrology, utilizing sound fundamentals, and allowing peers to obtain duplicate results. Without desiring to be presumptuous, I believe it is an ultimate form of astrology that would be approved by God.

Astrological Revelations was oriented toward listing Edgar Cayce’s readings in logical groupings, interpreting pertinent passages, and understanding the grand plan of our Creator for all of humanity. It associated this esoteric knowledge with the modern world we live in, and showed how this information might be used for self-help. Edgar Cayce further explained how astrology and reincarnation are integrated. He identified where cosmic energy might be stored within the human body, described the basis of fate and free will, and disclosed what happens between incarnations, when religions and poets would have us enduring some kind of imaginary heaven or hell. This large amount of information filled one book, written to be understood by all kinds of people—interested readers, astrologers, skeptics and those with scientific training as well.

Yet, I omitted details in that book. Hence, I have prepared this sequel which reviews historical data that shows the dire consequences of utilizing incorrect horoscopes (astrology’s fall from grace). I then go on to provide a step-by-step means of implementing and validating spiritual horoscopes, and dramatic discoveries realized from applying these proven horoscopes, both singly and collectively. Therefore, this book is more technical than the previous volume; it offers proven procedures and relevant supporting data. The theme of The Perfect Horoscope meshes with the new Aquarian Age we have now entered, and it includes many additional passages from Edgar Cayce’s life readings for inspiration.

    Applying Astrology

Over a period of many thousands of years astrological influences given to us by our Creator have become manifest. It seems clear that His intentions were for mankind to use knowledge of these influences as an aid in making decisions for advancement. From outward appearances, road blocks were removed, and something of astrological value is available for anyone who simply tries to obtain it. This has opened the door to a broad spectrum of methods for acquiring, understanding, and utilizing cosmic knowledge. For example, the astrology of America and Europe is not the same as the astrology of ancient Greece or Mexico, nor the astrology of Persia, India, nor China, and so forth throughout the world. Yet, all who seek, benefit. This situation, within the grand plan for mankind, fulfills a basic requirement to maximize the blessings of guidance in decision-making for all who want to have it. However, the content and quality of this powerful cosmic wisdom vary enormously.

There are many variations in techniques, because some form of astrology has been independently practiced by virtually every known civilization throughout history. In the past, communications between far-flung people were comparatively difficult. Yet observatories and structures for viewing celestial bodies existed in many countries and continents thousands of years ago. Archeological records of astrological practices go back as far as the ancient Sumerians (some 7,000 years ago), although that does not mean they were the first to use cosmic lore. Many changes have occurred over time. Hence, astrology in its many forms has great breadth and depth. The opportunities for differences to occur were and are quite large.

Yet, most celestial influences, however perceived, are said by believers to work in some form or fashion. That is both a blessing to mankind and an obstacle to complete understanding, because mistakes and false assumptions conceal so much important knowledge. Furthermore, widespread freedoms are the opposite of standardization, and a very large number of interpretations conflict with each other. Opinions frequently differ in content and form, and generally, from results that can be proven. At the present time, horoscopes derived by different astrologers for the same person are not alike, unfortunately. The unbridled nature of these opposing viewpoints has led to non-uniformity, non-repeatability and numerous controversies.

While this report of crosscurrents and radically different viewpoints may be disturbing, no opposition to the plan established by God for easy access to astrological understanding is implied or intended. Everyone has a right to benefits from planetary influences, and He gave everyone the means, whether schooled in the subject of astrology or not. He gave everyone feelings, and intuition. Most of us sense when new urges or motivations are present. Most couples, for example, believe they know when they are in love, with no inkling as to where their planets might lie. Yet, this knowledge could foster greater longevity in marriages. Every individual should make his or her own best personal decisions as a result of these promptings.

Nevertheless, such vagaries in the forms of astrology and the results obtained are upsetting to many organized people who want more explicit definitions and guidance, as opposed to what they perceive as idyllic generalities, a lack of discipline, or superstition. Hence, those who are engaged in rigorous educational pursuits and highly evolved professions probably have greater difficulty coping with these broad freedoms in thought and expression than others. Yet, Edgar Cayce’s readings show that the planets of our solar system were provided for this purpose, making it obvious that God’s intent was for everyone to have access. There was no wish for scientists to be excluded, although they might precipitate such an outcome on their own.

    Physical and Spiritual Times

Edgar Cayce attempted to shed light on astrology’s problems. The main problem, in his view, was the difference between physical and spiritual birth times. A physical birth time is the one generally reported when a baby is born. A spiritual birth time occurs between zero and about four-and-a-half hours before that moment. Perfect horoscopes match spiritual birth times, not physical birth times. That explanation evidently was not very well-understood by the majority of practicing astrologers, or the meaning could not be reconciled with biased personal opinions. However, it should be self-evident that large differences in the timing of horoscopes can cause major differences in interpretations. These differences persist.

    Sojourns

Edgar Cayce also reiterated astrological fundamentals for everyone’s benefit, and he explained another important factor that contributes to urges. This factor is the memory of planetary sojourns. Edgar Cayce used this term many times, and it refers to stays on planets between lives on earth. A typical example is as follows:

Those influences from the sojourns in Mercury we find making for the high mental abilities of the entity; what may be termed the mental acumen, and yet capable of making application of same in those directions in which there may be said to be the greater material activity—or the abilities for the entity to use same in those or given directions that may make for an experience in the mental and in the physical activities of the entity.

    1094-001

Experiences gained during planetary sojourns may differ from the cosmic forces received when planets are in certain alignments. Yet, both types of urges can be sensed by every individual, and both can prompt decision-making. Astrologers might be able to perceive the effects of sojourns intuitively, although that capability is uncertain. Also, doing so might be frowned upon by virtue of ethical standards proposed or practiced by professional organizations. Furthermore, information on urges caused by cosmic alignments depend upon whatever system the astrologer might be using. Thus, the particular combination of these influences varies considerably, and causes further differences.

Astrologers do not have direct access to the planetary sojourns of clients, although they might feel these experiences when in their presence. Therefore, an obvious goal should be to maximize what astrological information they can obtain. The best way to do that is to understand and utilize the highest levels of astrological indicators feasible. Therefore, in this book are insights that can be obtained by applying the principles identified by Edgar Cayce. In the long run that means using accurate horoscopes corresponding with spiritual birth times, in order to recognize the stepping-stones of life. It means abandoning crude, approximate horoscopes based upon widely divergent reported physical birth times and a lax attitude toward birth locations. It means striving for uniform precision in the same way astronomers strive for uniform coordinates of planets versus universal time, so that fellow human beings can be assured of reliable locations. Implied by this line of reasoning is the need for verifications and positive feedback showing that techniques used are both correct and adequate.

Stepping stones is a term used frequently by Edgar Cayce. Every stepping stone represents a period when urges occur that coincide with an important event in life and prompt the need for personal decision-making. We are ultimately judged by every decision we make. Therefore, stepping stones are both learning periods and a record of decisions made as we make them. They can be calendarized and prepared for in advance. That is one of the justifications for an accurate astrology that can pinpoint the dates.

Everyone deserves to know the nature of his or her stepping-stones that Edgar Cayce talked about. Everyone also deserves access to the best methods for defining them. Hence, providing this information, together with rational proofs of validity, is a principal objective of this new volume. Offered are guidelines checked against Edgar Cayce’s readings and tested over more than five decades. Everyone using these proven guidelines will gain far more astrological knowledge than with any other method known. The differences in credibility are striking. When followed, every astrologer can derive exactly the same horoscope for each individual, and the indicators will be the same. Only the interpretations might differ, depending upon the training of the interpreter. But, experience has shown that striving to exceed the minimum threshold requirements for accuracy will yield the highest payoff.

One premise has been that it should be possible to determine each individual’s stepping-stones to the nearest calendar dates, because they establish a template for living. Doing so has always proved to be a worthwhile goal, because decisions required of the individual can then be more exactly timed, prepared for, and applied in a more optimum manner. With knowledge that the horoscope is correct, a greatly intensified set of psychic impressions has always followed. Verification of the horoscope will add confidence to these impressions, as well as knowledge that the objectives of our Creator are being maximized.

Edgar Cayce repeatedly stated that focusing upon good decisions throughout life on earth is extremely important, because every act contributes to our destinies, becomes permanently recorded, and remains with us forever. This is where accurate astrology is so valuable. Our Creator gave us the means to better prepare for those choices, and you, the reader, should want to know how to take best advantage of them. Also, knowing the cosmic patterns of our friends, relatives, and cohorts can enhance relations, intensify companionships, and lead to more comprehensive real world cooperation.

My goal in passing on this information is, and always has been, for everyone to understand why they become inspired to make decisions at specific times in life, what the ramifications of those decision might be, how to determine their periodicity, and which steps to take in coping with them. Every decision is still a personal choice, whether the individual is prepared or not. However, receiving advanced warning of our upcoming cosmic urges adds preparation time for best exercising free will. That warning can be obtained from knowing the exact dates when day-for-a-year progressed planets make aspects with natal planets, or other progressed planets. Perceiving the nature of these aspects will contribute to a deeper understanding of what life is all about.

Comprehending astrological knowledge implies that one must know or learn some of the steps in casting and delineating horoscopes. That includes acquiring a sense of values regarding each indicator, because some are more important than others. One does not have to become a full-fledged astrologer to absorb these methods, although learning is sure to grow with participation. In fact, those who have studied astrology might be handicapped the most, because they will probably have to unlearn their unproductive ideas. However, those with Uranus strong in their charts are certain to be the most interested and acquire the greatest understanding.

So that everyone can benefit from this knowledge, I have provided step-by-step procedures that have consistently yielded extremely accurate spiritual horoscopes. While computer programs can aid in performing the necessary calculations, they are no substitute for knowing how to apply the correct steps, and the usual multitude of options in computer programs can be very misleading.

Understanding these proven methodologies is very important. These fundamentals of natal astrology cannot remain in just a few hands. They must be passed on so that other worthy individuals can experience equal gains.

I have described the exact methods used to calculate day-for-a-year progressions and demonstrate the exact methods of verifying natal and progressed horoscopes. Beyond this procedural information, I explain the means by which astrological fundamentals have been reconfirmed and new discoveries identified. All rely upon the fact that one revolution of earth on its axis in one day relates directly to one revolution of the earth around our Sun in exactly one sidereal year.

A sidereal year is the number of days, and fractional days, it takes for Earth to rotate around the Sun and return to its exact position in space for the start of the circuit. Because the entire solar system has moved forward during this period, a sidereal year cannot be the same as a solar year. The urges Edgar Cayce called stepping-stones are mathematically proportional to increments of these sidereal rotations.

Coincidence of stepping-stone urges with real events represents perhaps the most important step in verifications. When the urges that accompany every tested event are accompanied by close (under 00º 04’) progressed aspects, then the horoscope can be judged correctly cast for a spiritual birth time. It will continue to match these urges and events with progressed aspects throughout life.

After a sizable quantity of horoscopes have been verified, then the data from all can be combined to prove or disprove greater astrological truths. I will give reports from several such studies whose messages deserve to be shared. This technique of using proven horoscopes collectively makes it possible to test all diverse ideas for authenticity by concentrating the power of uniform findings.

My final objective in writing this book is to lay a foundation for intelligent acceptance of astrology by everyone (including the most learned and critical of men and women) as we enter the Aquarian age. Uranus, having compatibility with Aquarius, is the planet of astrology (as well as technology). Aquarius is a mental sign. It can produce new magi. The vision poured from the urn of Aquarius is one of light that is capable of restoring astrology to its rightful place among the most honored of all professions, and that is a worthy goal.

    CHAPTER 1

    Edgar Cayce’s

    Guidelines

Edgar Cayce was mild-mannered in trance as well as in his waking state. However, he frequently admonished those asking astrological questions for the errors being committed. Either the question was not asked right, or it contained assumptions (from prevailing practices) that simply were incorrect. This caused some verbal gymnastics in his responses. At other times he stated what was wrong, but usually in a charitable manner. However, as a foundation for what will follow, everyone needs to be appraised of the ideas that he questioned. The main ones will be given in this first section, especially those that run contrary to popular thinking.

Overall, the general picture of astrology and planetary sojourns that he portrayed in his life readings, given mainly during the 1930s and early 1940s, was that the subject was very important, misconceptions existed, but there was a definite connection between planets and every person’s life. He gave many explanations that revealed hidden truths unknown to most. These readings are the ones that are so fascinating.

The most conspicuous admonishment Edgar Cayce issued was that astrologers were making serious errors in timing horoscopes. Perhaps the word egregious should have been used instead, because the error identified has easily been determined to be the root cause of much devastation and confusion. His assertions of timing errors were repeated over and over again, in a number of different ways, while giving astrological readings to a variety of people. The average error, he declared, was one sign (about two hours), although on occasion a two-sign error was identified (about four or more hours). Horoscope timing errors of that magnitude can, of course, be terribly misleading, despite the fact that all astrologers, regardless of erroneous procedures and charts, continue to glean valuable insights from their work. These large timing errors can lead to all kinds of false conclusions mixed with good conclusions and best intentions. He did speak of these variations on occasion. What he did not say more forcefully was that the timing error was a root cause of astrology’s decline in the Western world. That thought will be investigated and kept in mind as we proceed.

Virtually every astrological reading discussed the influences of planets in the life of an entity, the term he applied to individuals. They made a statement of his agreement with this fundamental principle. Stepping-stones, or the major milestones of life where important decisions have to be made, were also talked about frequently. They were always associated with one type of progression, and no other. Interspersed within these readings were many nuggets of wisdom. For example, sometimes it was not the current aspects in a horoscope that matter, but what happened before.

    3. In giving the interpretations of those records as we find here, made by the entity upon the skein of time and space, we find there is much that may be given that would be of interest to those that were curious; we find much that may be helpful in the experience of the entity if it is applied in the spirit of CONSTRUCTIVENESS in the activities during the rest of the sojourn.

    4. For as we find, the greater satisfaction, the greater fulfilling of longing desires of the entity, is yet to be experienced in this sojourn if those fields of activity as we find indicated are adhered to.

    5. As for the astrological aspects, these we find quite varied from, or at variance to, the ordinary interpretations of those that are teachers in such or delvers into astrological aspects. For as we find it is rather the sojourn of the entity in the environs about the earth plane that determines their influence, rather than the position at the time of birth.

    6. The position at the time of birth of an entity is the entity’s rule upon the planet, rather than the planet’s rule upon the entity; not because of its position but because of the entity’s sojourn in the environ it has an influence—just as a dwelling of a material entity in any definite portion of the country would have upon the activities of the entity during a specific sojourn, as to customs, as to ideas, as to the influences of the material surroundings.

    1424-003

On more than one occasion Edgar Cayce stated that interpretations (from his source, the Akashic records) were at variance to the ordinary interpretations of teachers or delvers into astrological aspects. Of course, teachers and delvers into astrological aspects are mainly working with physical birth time horoscopes. Hence, they would certainly not be expected to interpret correctly on every occasion. Then Edgar Cayce proceeded to explain that sojourns of the soul in the environs about the earth plane (on other planets) determine influences, rather than these (false) positions at the time of physical birth.

    4. For each soul enters an experience in the earthly or material sojourn for its own development, for its activity as related to the constructive spiritual influence in the material planes; to lose self more and more in constructive activity for definite purposes.

    5. The sojourns in the environs about the earth, or the astrological activities, become a portion then of the influence, such as may be psychologically ascribed to the hereditary influence; or these are inherited influences then and become as innate urges in the experience.

    6. On the other hand, the material sojourns become—as in the present experience—the environmental influences, or those through the emotional influences of the body; hence oft these become more outstanding, as it were, in the present experience.

    7. All of these are urges but none of these surpass the will of the entity as a whole—that which is the gift of the Creative Influence or Force, or God, to each soul; that it, that soul, that entity, may know itself to BE itself yet one with the Creative Forces.

    8. Hence in giving the astrological as well as material sojourns, these are relative then according to the application of the will respecting that which the entity sets as its ideal.

    9. That these influences produce then inclinations, or become karmic—as you term—or become an overempowering influence, is only according to the measure of the will in relationship to Creative or God Force in the experience of the entity.

    0880-002

While answering related questions on effects of astrological influences upon past lives, shown in the soul’s Akashic (or Akashian) records, Edgar Cayce referred to the variations of interpretations that would be the natural consequence of trying to embellish astrology. If additions or subtractions are made to basic influences shown in a horoscope, the interpreter generally visualizes results and loses sight of the initial cosmic basis. Yet, the die was cast from which these deviations in interpretation sprang. Only when the interpreter can become attuned to the primal cosmic forces (shown at spiritual birth) will there be an ability to properly translate. Note that Edgar Cayce did not say that Akashic records and cosmic impressions from physical birth time horoscopes agree. In fact, he later refutes that idea.

    4. Then, to draw a comparison that some concept may be gained as to the nature of records, and how they are recorded, and the manner and the variations that occur, let’s—then—for the moment put this in the language of that in which the entity is engaged:

    5. (This aside. Don’t think that you present will know very much more than you did before. He will!)

    6. When a dye [die?] is cast there are basic influences that form that from which, to which, other things are added to take from or add to, to produce an effect that will not be acted upon by light, heat, moisture or the like, or other elements with the same. Yet, in the addition—to subtract from this first basis, there is always left that record in that which exists in the present of the dye, as to what basis the beginning was measured from. And in the interpretation, the analysis of what records were made as they were being put together, the interpreter oft loses sight of the base—of the addition—and sees the results rather than that activity producing same.

    7. Just so in the soul life, the soul’s contact with that which is conscious—that partakes of, or presents, or is represented in material form. The reading or interpretation of such an akashic record or cosmic impression, or such influences, depend upon the ability of the interpreter to meet in the same force, or attune into the same vibration, as to be able to translate or interpret the same.

    0378-013

The ability of interpreters certainly do vary, and it is reasonable to believe many of them typically lose sight of the base—of their additions. The base is the die that beginnings are measured from. That die is a pattern occurring at the instant of spiritual birth. But alleged results of additions are being highlighted by teachers of astrology instead of the reasons.

More and more additions that constitute variations, are being made to horoscopes as we leave the Piscean age. Good partial results are being obtained on some occasions, but not consistently. Few seem to understand the reasons why. Nevertheless, this trend of adding complexity persists. Interpreters do not understand that additions to physical birth time horoscopes are not necessarily improvements, nor do they lead back to the beginning. They also do not understand the extremely important fragment of knowledge that Edgar Cayce gave above. Akashic records agree with cosmic impressions from spiritual birth time horoscopes that constitute the beginning of the present life, and only when those are used will the interpreter meet in the same force, or attune into the same vibration, as to be able to translate or interpret the present life as revealed in the astrological chart.

Typical twentieth century additions consist of symbols for undiscovered planets, asteroids, and midpoints, new complex house systems, canned software delineations, and other artifacts. Older additions were the Arabian parts, and they continue to be used by a few. Each of these methods increases complexity and solicits approval from group support. Each astrologer in a given group makes similar additions with results that are quite a mixed bag. None of these additions seem to pinpoint major events, although there is much agreement that they should be included. No one attempts proofs.

Horoscopes today are more professional looking than ever—a nice addition. The reason is they are normally generated using a computer on a high definition printer. Some make use of colors, although the choices of which colors to apply seem to be based upon attractiveness more than logic. When feedback from clients is positive there is little to be concerned about (except when the feedback is negative, which occurs far more frequently than most would care to admit).

But Edgar Cayce essentially said to use the shortcomings and differences in these interpretations of additions as stepping-stones:

    4. While the astrological influences are as signs, to the ENTITY in the present these will mean but little. Yet in the application of self towards the inner development, the illumination of the soul is more of that which has been the uprisings, the downsittings, the shortcomings, the developments of the entity in the earth’s experiences as to be made the more helpful.

    5. Remember, ever, that where shortcomings have existed and do exist in the experience, those that are wise use same as stepping-stones to the real development; for less and less of self, more and more that the body, the mind, may be used as a channel for the glorifying of a unified Father in the earth.

    6. These should be, must be, the purposes, the aims, the desires for each soul if it would fulfill that whereunto it has been called into the earth.

    1150-001

Hence, the current plan is to describe a channel, an intrinsic astrology that can benefit mankind in the way Edgar Cayce foretold. Furthermore, we have good reason to believe the benefits Edgar Cayce recounted were condoned by our Creator. Cayce’s stepping-stones have been identified through astrological progressions, because they commence at the instant of spiritual birth and accompany the soul throughout life on earth, if not beyond.

Unfortunately, among the additions to astrology have been several new kinds of progressions. The basic progression type yielding verifiable results is often ironically referred to as secondary. It is mentioned in the bible—thus having a long history behind it. This valid progression method is based upon the principal that one day after birth represents one year in life. Each succeeding day forecasts another year of life. When aspect angles form among progressing planets and major angles in a horoscope, then urges are encountered that precipitate the stepping-stones in life. Progressions can be accurately calculated for future dates if the necessary precision is adopted and maintained throughout all of the calculations. That precision captures the spiritual origin, and the spiritual unfolding of the pattern selected by the soul.

    29. (Q) How may the physical being be trained or impressed so it may draw upon the inner self to make such experiences as stepping-stones?

    29. (A) By keeping the proper evaluation for psychic forces and psychic experiences of the body in its formative or developing years. And in making these proper evaluations we go from the first causes or the basic forces; that all life, all activity EMANATES from a SPIRITUAL source. And as these are then seen, felt and experienced by the body, these may be USED as the stepping-stones for the proper understanding of the influences in the experience of the body.

    665-002

At no time did Edgar Cayce speak of any other kind of progression than day-for-a-year. Nor did he speak of transits that are heavily relied upon by contemporary astrologers.

Transits—the current positions of planets—were set in motion when our solar system was created and are not keyed to any individual. Or stated in another way, transits establish background conditions for everybody. Transits are like the weather in a particular locale. If the day is rainy, then it is rainy for all of the citizens. That means any attempts to use transits for predicting personal events in the lives of individuals are doomed to failure. Here, events (or stepping-stones) are distinguished from conditions. Even so, the prevailing conditions shown by transits can be confusing when they apply. If attempts are made to force-fit transiting aspects to specific, personalized events, they typically produce half-right, half-wrong generalized impressions. This does not mean psychic phenomena or transiting aspects should be ignored. They simply need to be recognized for what they are.

No way is known to measure spiritual birth times using clocks or other detection devices. Therefore, a spiritual birth time must be calculated—often in an iterative manner if rectification techniques are used. A specific method will be given in a later chapter. However, spiritual birth times are believed to occur instantaneously, in a flash, from directly overhead, as Edgar Cayce told us. The precise instance when spirit enters a baby’s body can only be determined mathematically, to our knowledge, but such horoscopes have consistently yielded uncanny test results. Whether instrumentation could be perfected to measure spiritual births or not is uncertain. However, proving any body of astrological work correct would represent a major advancement! Empirical evidence described herein will show that no reported physical birth time yielded a horoscope that could be verified. On the other hand, all spiritual birth time horoscopes after verification were completely functional and could withstand the rigors of further testing. Accurate progressions are not the only means, but they are the sine qua non of verifications.

Spiritual birth times combine two channels, and for that reason the timing is very precise. The one channel of time and space is combined with the channel for manifestation of a soul entry, and they must coincide. Edgar Cayce’s reference in this passage to influences commonly accredited to astrology once again indicate the timing error embodied in common astrology. As he emphatically stated, true astrological urges from progressions are associated with spiritual consciousness (or spiritual entry), although urges arising from sojourns between lives on earth (on other planets) may be sensed.

    5. It is not by chance, then, that the entity—or any entity—enters a material manifestation at any given time, or any given place. For, much that is not comprehended through a three-dimensional consciousness or reasoning IS interpreted in the cosmos-consciousness, from which an entity enters physical consciousnesses

    6. Thus there are latent urges that arise; not merely because the sun, the moon or the planets are at a certain position at the time or place; but rather the entity finds the channel at the time and place, as combined with the channel produced for the manifestation of a soul-entity.

    7. Thus urges astrologically, that have to do with the spiritual consciousness, are not altogether in keeping with the influences commonly accredited to astrology; but because of an entity’s consciousness in that environ through what is called time or space (in its consciousness), during the interims between material entrances or manifestations, the entity finds urges arising of which it is aware in the senses.

    2988-002

Edgar Cayce’s admonitions, given mainly during the late 1920’s and 1930’s, apparently were not understood by the majority of astrologers who had access to his readings. At least no widespread changes in procedures were evident. His admonitions continue being not understood by the majority today, and still there are very few corrections to horoscope times. There are mostly attempts to predict using transits. Thus a preponderance of unsubstantiated material exists. It has caused scientists and other thinking people to turn against this great study.
