The Eventful Year of 2021, Month by Month Including Chinese New Year!

Happy 2021! Each year in January we all look forward to the future with a wonderful sense of anticipation, though this is also the month when we reflect on the year that has just passed. Now that we are all firmly on our way to experiencing the wonderful new year of 2021, what does astrology tell us lies ahead? To find out, we’ll take a look at the major astrological events by means of a month-by-month survey of aspects, eclipses, and other highlights in the ever-changing movements of the planets. However, before we begin our preview we will deal with a few major astrological events that deserve special attention.

First, there will be four eclipses in 2021. If you have ever experienced either a solar or lunar eclipse, you know that they heighten our emotions and give us a feeling that change is in the air. The year’s solar eclipses will take place on June 10 in Gemini at 19 degrees, and on December 4 at 12 Sagittarius. Solar eclipses coincide with a New Moon, and thus are times when we can start new projects, and take steps to bring new experiences into our lives. Lunar eclipses, on the other hand, happen on a Full Moon, so they mark a time when we tend to take stock of our lives, revise our schedules, and take steps to end bad habits. In other words, they give us the determination to get ourselves back on track. The year’s lunar eclipses occur on May 26 at 5 degrees of Sagittarius, and November 19 at 27 degrees of Taurus.
