About this ebook
It took over 45 years to put together. Images of many years ago but that still seem relevant today. No need to take everything too seriously, I didn't. I am happy to get this somewhere that someone might find amusing.

Thoughts
The Mind Released
Through these pages which bend and fold
Are stories that won’t go untold
In your mind you may try to find
What to others may seem blind
In your head the secrets have come unlocked
No longer must your thoughts be blocked
You must try and foresee
What meaning you can make of me
The time must not let you stop
You must go and search for the top
The top of all kindness and love
The upper limits far above
It will be hard to decipher the code
And easy ways are slow
And the meaning of such words will wind on forever
You must carry them to the endeavor
And try to make the best of what you’ve got
Because no one else is going to help you for what you’ve sought
And just remember after your long, gone, and deceased
I will still be the mind released.
Return
Rolling On
Somewhere I’ve heard before
A poem which kept rolling on,
As before
Rolling along, along, along
Rolling up through the hills
Rolling down through the mind
I’ve heard that poem sing out,
As before
I’ve heard that poem cry out,
For freedom
It cried loud and strong
It cried and rolled along.
Return
Spaced
Spaced would it be so nice to have
Spaced it was so nice to be
Gone, gone so far away from me
Thoughts they look in between it all
Sight is not contributing to what we should obtain
Scorn brings in too much disdain
Why? Can’t it be left to them?
They were looking, trying, to help me too
Did not succeed, looks as though I’m through
Say, when will you come again?
Say, I’m missing what you left behind
I keep searching, searching for my mind
Yes, Spaced that’s what I’d like to be
Spaced away and out just setting me free
Spaced, spaced not looking at what I see.

Why
Why are people born? What is
The purpose of living on this
Earth which is part of a great
Space? Just think about it for
A moment, people are put in this
world, but who puts them here, is
it all biological or does some other
spirit combine them in their fashion.
Look at the Christian religion, it says
We are put here to believe and prepare
For the world after, or to evangelize
All the people of the earth. What
Is the world in the universe? A speck
If there are other lives on other planets,
Do they have the answer to their way
Of life? I feel that there will always
Be some thing missing of the complete life of one who does not have religion,
He cannot have a true purpose
For driving on and living. Perhaps
Man will never answer many
Questions in life and I cannot give
The answers, only the question.
Return
It’s Your World
Oh! The hell with you,
You, O so ignoble people who declare themselves so self-rightists.
I may not be the perfection of all
But I am some part of a body
I am part of a people who live
I shall speak, no one need hear
I shall yell so that all may see
I shall do what must be done
For I may not be perfect but I can see hypocrisy.
O you people you make me sick
You go and tell black they are white
But you think yourself gold.
People, you may only heed my warning
I can only speak for myself
I cannot determine right from wrong
But I can tell two-faced people, bigots.
When one is complete and whole,
He who knows no prejudices and can represent a race,
a body, a complete people.
Then and only then will I be with you a free mind and
a clear conscience.
For those who oppress can only do so
When others are at hand to be pressed.
If (and I pray) that someday we will be one.
Then all may join with a good and human right of all people
That of freedom.
Not freedom to oppress others but a freedom that we can
Coexist with one another and not infringe on others,
That basic right is born with us all.
But only you the people can make it so.
So far you do not, then throw up in everyone’s toilet for all to see.
Your most vulgar dissentions upon the others of your race.
The
