THE MIGHTY PEN
The mighty pen
Pulls me into his den
At the count of one to ten
He makes me the woman among men
He asks me to on him depend
So he can the words contend
He knows I love to myself fend
He helps me to a lovely bend
Cautiously he me ascends
Counseling words to make a blend
As the words clash and contend
He cautiously follows the trend
I am shivering at the sound
Of the words that clash and bound
But like the horse that makes the rounds
My little heartbeat pleasurably pounds
Clashing sound, most profound
See the light and darkness around
And their hearts most propound
In a hearty common ground
Pen of pen, oh mighty pen!
Please let me this commend
Let us together words transcend
Then end results will be highly crowned
ABOUT AND FOR CHILDREN
COME AROUND
Pan, pan panpan
The dogs are barking
The cats are mewing
The lions are roaring
And we are playing
Pan panpanpan
Panana pan panpan
Na nananaaaa
Go ahead and fall
Our mummies will not call
They've gone to the mall
To fill their precious stalls
Na na nana
Nananananaaaa
Round and round and round and round
Clap, slap the lap
Bring also the map
And the liiittle caps
And we will skip the nap
Off round and round
Round and round and round we'll go
HAVE COMPASSION
Then:
No breast milk, no silk
No cradling, no humming
No squeezing, no perfuming
No praying, no blessing
No ‘prouding’, no loving
No running around, no chastising
No grounding, no hugging
No complaining, just listening
Just following, just indulging
Just watching and wishing
Now:
Stomach rumbling and whipping
Swift aching and paining
Heart opening and closing
None offering a loving
Heart breaking and hardening
Seeing and feeling
Leaving and coming
Not touching, never touching
To avoid canning and banning
Just watching and
