Charlie Hadley

Hi I’m Charlie, I started writing a blog and began writing a manuscript for a romance novel back in 2005, after a work colleague encouraged me to follow my dream of being a writer. My first adventure into writing erotic fiction came after being dared by a friend to enter an erotic short story competition, which I won. After winning the competition I created a blog Naughtygirlwrites for my erotic fiction writing and a place to share articles I find of interest. Since winning the competition I found a new focus for writing erotic fiction, something I never thought I would be able to do. I’m grateful to have had such a good response to my work from the people who have enjoyed it. I’m lucky to have such amazing people around me who inspire me to follow my dreams and support my over active imagination. Thank you for buying my books. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them. Please remember to leave a review for my book at your favourite retailer.

    Watching Football With Friends

I’d been looking forward to the start of the football season for weeks, so I was excited to wake up to a text message from Oliver: ‘Hi Jen, fancy watching the match at mine tonight? Bring cold beer and pizza, I’ll see you at 7.00pm x’.

I met Oliver at a Chelsea match; we were sitting next to each other, got talking and swapped numbers at the end of the game. After that we arranged to meet up for a drink before a couple of matches.

When we couldn’t get tickets we met in a pub to watch the game. There ended up being a group of us and we had a lot of fun.

I’d connected with Oliver in a way I didn’t think possible. We ended up becoming close friends and started bonding over other things; seeing each other outside of our football crowd.

When it was just the two of us there was an undeniable chemistry, a connection you don’t have with many people that went deeper than a physical attraction.

I excitedly texted back ‘See you then. What pizza do you fancy? Have a good day! x’

I got ready, picked up a change of clothes, pizza leaflet and headed off to work.

What were the chances of meeting someone at a football match that lived within 3 streets of you? I never thought I would be so lucky.

At lunchtime I got a text from Oliver saying ‘Sorry, busy morning. BBQ Chicken ok for you? Looking forward to seeing you. Up the Chels x’.

I couldn’t focus all afternoon, it was the first match of the season and I was excited about seeing Oliver. We hadn’t seen each other much in the close season. He’d been busy with work, we both been on holiday and had other commitments, so I was looking forward to reconnecting with him.

Just before I left the office I quickly
