Thirty-five stone. Five hundred pounds. Two hundred kilograms.
But it was worth it.
Sweet. Sour. Hot. Cold. Big. Large. Extra large. Extra extra large.
I tried diets. All of them.
Low carb. High carb. Low fat. High fat. Low protein. High protein. Low calories. High calories. It was never in the middle. Always the extremes.
So what's wrong with my extreme, then? Nothing! That's what.
So I went back to my extreme. Lots of food whenever I had time.
Too big for work, my last boss said. Sorry, Alan, but...
He shouldn't have been sorry. He did me a favour! Now eating was a full-time job. It used to be just a hobby.
It felt good to be free.
No more calorie counting. No more weighing or measuring or tracking. No more tiny portions fit for a damn child. No can't eat this
or that's bad food
. No more turning down third helpings. No more salivating while my skinny brothers stuffed their faces without gaining a friggin' pound - damn, life isn't fair!
