Excerpt:

Once they reached Beth she went inside the shed; on one side were the usual garden tools and supplies. On the other side was a wooden floor and a space that was completely dominated by a large pillory. Instead of having a quaint antique feel, this pillory was made of modern lumber and featured locking hasps with padlocks.

Before Preston could say anything Beth spoke up. “I want to apologize to Lady Maura for deceiving her and using her for my own pleasure in serving. I also want to apologize to you, Sir,” she said to Preston. “You deserve better behavior from me.”

“I’m glad you apologized,” was all Preston said. There was an uncomfortable pause before Maura realized a response was needed from her.

“I forgive you, Beth,” Maura said.

“As do I,” Preston said as he stepped over to the pillory and removed the open padlock that held the upper board in place. “Assume the position.”

Without another word Beth placed her wrists and neck on the lower board after first adjusting her collar so it wouldn’t be caught in the boards. Beth was completely calm and composed as they went through this ritual. Maura wondered how many times she had been through this before. The pillory was low enough to force Beth to bend at the waist nearly parallel to the floor which made her butt stick up. She was forced to face the wall as part of her punishment.

Part Two

Chapter Two

Waking up the next morning Maura noted that Beth was gone from her place next to the bed, Preston was lightly snoring next to her, and the smell of bacon was wafting up from the kitchen. The smell made her stomach rumble and Maura opted for a morning meal over morning sex. She carefully disengaged Preston’s arm from around her shoulders and made her way silently downstairs wearing her nightie. It made her feel elegant and not so vulnerable.

As she expected Beth was there cooking breakfast and Maura didn’t blink when she saw the slave was naked but for a small apron around her waist. She gave her credit for bravery, facing a pan of hot bacon grease with her bare breasts. Beth smiled in greeting and Maura was a bit upset that she already looked put together: her eyes were clear and bright, she wore no makeup but her face was clean and no puffy from sleep, her hair was pulled back into a simple ponytail that gave her a youthful appearance.

Coffee? Maura asked.

Beth quickly poured her a mug and said, "Breakfast will be ready in a minute.

Would you like toast with your eggs and bacon?"

Yes, please. She grimaced after she said please and made to cover up her mistake with a quick gulp of coffee. A dominant woman shouldn’t say please or thank you to a slave, she had decided. When are you going to wake Preston? she
