About this ebook

Mark was just a simple soul longing for what every kid may dream of; that he may one day he may accomplish his goals and taste the sweet nectar of success. “Success” as dictated to him by those who were always in control of his life. His dreams were simple. They were based on the basic ideas of love, knowledge, self-attainment and recognition.

He found himself broken, torn, and displaced within a society that only brought false hopes and shattered dreams. It would only be a matter of time before he would lose control and allow something stronger than himself, something residing in him, take full control and wreak havoc on the world.

We are an entity made up of different voices with different styles, ranging from the most bizarre to the geekiest. We are a group in unison, writing off till the end of days. We might make you smile, frown or shock you. Our words evolve into stories beyond imagination and weave in and out of your realities. Descend into a world of madness, of fallacies and similes. But whatever you do, do not forget your past, for it will be your only salvation. Check out our current creators: Sinister Publications Author Spotlight: J.I.Q. is a college graduate who currently sails through the murky waters of our troubled times. Since day one, he was been an avid dreamer. It was only until recent times that the idea to write down his vivid fantasies came to realization. He sat down within the depths of his man cave and cooked up many ideas. Every night his nightmares would come to reality and trouble him on the white digital canvas. He sat there typing away while the storm brewed up hatred and darkness in the distance. The horizon turned blood red, signaling the dawn of a new era. It was a new beginning, it was the inception of an idea that slowly grew inside his mind, eventually eating at him with every word he typed. He finally immersed himself into his very own story, never to know the difference between reality and fiction. Mad Villain is a silly goose on a rampage, drifting through the quiet neighborhoods of his wretched town, wreaking havoc. His stereo bumps to random garbage, muffled by the old, beat up speakers of his Civic. As he drives off into the distance, with one hand on the wheel and the other on the Big Gulp, his mind, with extreme vengeance, crafts satirical pieces. He might be mental, but that’s the least of his worries since he’s running away from his past. It always comes back to haunt him with fond memories of old. But unlike stories that go untold, his past is going places.

    Preface

I sat there, slowly smoking a cigarette while my mind went aloof. I looked at the sky, it looked gloomy and droopy. At that moment a thought came into mind; it was more of a question than a thought. Am I happy? While trying to answer that question I came to realize that there were many things left unturned in my life. I hadn't really done much with my life.

I had attempted to make changes at a global scale, always dreamt big, but I never really thought about having the will to orchestrate marvelous things in grand scale. I worked many ideas in various types of environments and even attained a higher state of self, but I had never, despite being an avid dreamer, imagined of an idea that could continue to grow inside one’s mind to the point of insanity.

The idea grew and the answer to that question became more and more difficult to cognize. Mostly everyone’s thoughts follow the underdog theory, the thought of an internal mental struggle to attain success, but only a few ever experience that reality.

The disturbing reality behind humanity is that most underdogs never make it, they fall within the cracks of social norms and end up as distorted images of themselves. This idea is the harbinger, it is a continuation of the self-inflicted mental anguish of petty human beings.

It is the idea, originally from a young man’s confrontation with a troubled childhood, broken home, and surreal ideas about society that one day might set us free. It is a simple idea, a primitive idea, it is just an idea that will place before you the transition that normal human souls undertake before finally ending up as horrid living nightmares.

    Introduction

Life has never been an easy achievement for anyone despite the lies that society has forced down our throats throughout our childhood. He was just a child, a helpless young citizen in need of love, attention, and most importantly the instruction of higher knowledge. Homes are often broken; the people within, lurk in the corners like the shadows that condemn the dark desolate places that surround the city walls during the night. These
