CHAPTER ONE
Don't you just love my new room?
Ariella Clarke tossed her white, studded handbag onto the plump cushion of her vanity set's throne. Just one of the new additions to her made-over bedroom in her family's New York City condo.
After she confessed to her parents about her dream of becoming a fashion designer instead of their stargazing protégé, they refurnished her room to fit her fashion forward personality. Goodbye clunky lab desk, hello fully loaded sewing table with a brand new sewing machine. Though most of her old things were replaced with items she actually enjoyed waking up to, she decided to keep the gold stars dangling from her ceiling. Not only did they give a nice touch (gold was her favorite after all), but they were the one decoration both she and her parents appreciated. But her ultimate favorite new décor piece in her fab'd out room had to be the changing booth.

Ariella slipped through the ruby curtain of the booth and pulled the gold cord. The curtain swooshed open, revealing her cheesing face. She released the cord and the curtain fell closed. Then she yanked it open again, her wide grin locked in place. Stellar right?
