About this ebook
Two aliens, J#*49 and Z+*18, are searching for an engine part in Las Vegas. Most of the time they are in bars and trying to find a little sex. They favor tequila and beer chasers. They try to pick up two out of work chorus girls. The barmaid demands money for their bar tab. J#*49 produces a credit card. The barmaid describes it to the two chorus girls as a mixture of Russian, Chinese and Arabic written upside down.

J#*49 nudged his partner in the ribs. I think one of them is smiling at me. What do you think? Should we try to pick them up?
Z+*18 swung his huge body around to see the two women sitting at the end of the bar in the Last Chance Saloon. He wiped his pink sweating face with two paper towels and then dropped them on the bar. He swung back and glanced up at his yellow companion. I don’t know. They’re both ugly as the females on alpha six.
He glanced at the women again and smiled. His three green teeth glowed under the fluorescent lights. And when they are that bad looking, they’ll go with anyone.
J#*49 gulped down a shot of tequila and chased it with a beer before he nodded his head. I’ll bet they’ve even been out with men from Betelgeuse five.
He rubbed his fat partner’s hairless head. If they’ve done that, there’s nothing they won’t do.
He waved at the barmaid and pointed at the two empty glasses.
What about R+2? She’s the leader of this mission. She might not want us to fraternize with the natives.
J#*49 shuddered thinking about R+2. He clapped his hands and waved at the barmaid. What is wrong with the woman? I want a drink. This barmaid is slower than our ship coming out of hyperspace.
He turned back to Z+*18. What mission are you talking about? The ship’s mission or our mission?
I’m talking about our mission, you idiot. R+2 has sent us out every day for a week to find a part for the ship. So far we’ve been in seven different bars. R+2 can be evil when things don’t go her way.
He thought for a moment. You remember what she did to XX25. She had his beard removed with a sander. All he did was forgetting to put three spoons of sugar in her coffee.
None of those double X people have good sense. Don’t worry about R+2. We’ll find that part soon. It’s somewhere in this town.
He looked toward the door. What do they call this place? Las Vegas?
He frowned as the barmaid tipped the tequila bottle and filled his shot glass. Show a little speed here. I’m thirsty.
He picked up the
