"Mornin folks; how did y'all sleep last night?

Yessem; a body can get right comfortable listenin to them katydids and cricket's a singing you to sleep. Y'all sit on down now, ya hear?

Maw's a fixin up some biscuits and gravy, along with some fresh made grits. Speaking of which; how do you-all like your eggs?

What's that?

No ma'am, I am afraid we don't have any of that; what did you call it? Two percent milk, that's right, no; can't help y'all out there. We do have some fresh sweet milk, if buttermilk is not to your liking. Just what is two percent milk anyhow; don't sound natural like. What do they do? Take two ounces of milk and add ninety-eight ounces of water to it. Nope; don't sound natural at all."

Just then Ma called into the dining room.

Pa; quit pesterin the guest and bring yourself into the kitchen. You've got a ham to slab up; iffin you want some, to go with your eggs. Don't worry children; I'll have Pa back in a jiffy for ya.
