    There is an art to the Christian life and service which is attainable through the principles set forth in the Bible. In the pages of this study, we will discuss twelve areas that are important to successful Christian living. In mastering these ‘Arts,’ the Christian is able to live in the abundant life.

    Chapter 1-The Art of Faith

    (Understanding the Dynamics of Faith)

    Christian living is successful through and by faith. The key to maintaining a fruitful relationship with Christ is by trusting in Him without fear and doubt.

    In this opening Lesson, we will discuss faith and its dynamics. Understanding that the Art of Faith begins with knowing without faith it is impossible to please Him.

    When many believers are asked, What is Faith, the response usually is a quotation of Hebrews 11:1. However, this scripture is not given as a definition of faith, but rather as a description of faith. Some still may ask, What is the difference? When we describe something, we list its attributes. When we define something, we speak of its true essence, use, or function.

    For instance, if someone asked you, What is a sandwich? If you reply and tell them that it is two slices of bread with meat or other food in the middle, you only described to them what a sandwich is. However,
