What is a mystery? In the scriptures, the term mystery was used to describe a hidden spiritual truth that was made known through Christ. Paul expressed that the apostles were stewards over the mysteries of God. They had the responsibility to make known the hidden truths of God through His word that the saints would stand on a sure foundation. Today, this responsibility rests upon the New Testament minister.

I prefer to be moulded by scripture than to mould scripture. I can only say that as someone who takes very little in on simply having heard it said in a pulpit or having read it in a book - I advocate critical examination of anything of a doctrinal nature- I can say that I agree with the author as he corroberates my understanding of scripture. This does not in itself make it true. Every man and woman should be able to defend their position based on scriptural evidence, and as supported by scripture in its entirety.

I do not think this theology is very sound as the inheritance is not just received at the coming of Christ. But believers are called to rule as kings and priest on the earth. The inheritance is very much for sons and daughters to be victorious over the earthly situation in the now also. Thus, no longer slaves but sons and daughters is true from now, not for when Jesus return. Jesus had finished the work of the cross. The cross means believers are now sons and daughters of God, heir to the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
