    Interpretation -- Deciphering Life Messages

    *****

I am a seeker of light.

Light is hope; Light is the very source of life.

I have been searching for a long time. Finally, with heavenly grace, I have found it.

This Light is within us. It is one with the very source of the universe.

I call it Universal Love Light.

    Chapter 1

The Message of Universal Love Light

This lecture will discuss energy, and the body, mind, and spirit. Energy is a very popular topic, but what is it exactly? What are the body, mind, and spirit? What is the essence of energy? And what is the essence of the body, mind, and spirit?

Through this lecture I hope to bring you the blessings of Universal Love Light. I hope that during the lecture, the light within you will be awakened. This is the main purpose of my writing -- to bring you the message of Universal Love Light, and to allow you to realize that it is within you and that it has always been within you.

Since most don’t know they have Universal Love Light within them, they constantly search for it outside of themselves.

The Relationship Between Energy and The Body, Mind, and Spirit

Why would one choose to end one’s life? - An empty shell

    **

Prior to the lecture, a friend asked me to comment on why so many young people choose to commit suicide nowadays. It is not as if they are unable to pay their mortgages, nor are there too many mouths to feed. For most, it is simply because they feel that life is meaningless. Thus they decide to attempt suicide.

Why do they choose to end their lives? Suicide is one of the ten major causes of death in the world today and it is on the rise; more and more people are committing suicide.

So why has suicide become a such common choice for so many people?

Today, one of my students told me that she had once considered committing suicide. At the time, she thought that suicide was the only way out. Her reason for making such a decision was that her boyfriend, whom she loved dearly, had abandoned her. The pain of the betrayal was unbearable for her at the time. This is not an uncommon scenario; people have similar problems all over the world. She described to me how she had felt at the time - it was as if her insides had been ripped out; she felt hollow inside, with nothing left. This hollow feeling made her feel that her life was meaningless. At the time, she did not know what had been ripped out, only that she had lost the will to live and that, to her, it was better to be dead than alive. She had been right, actually, because she had already lost her life. Even though she was still alive, she was nothing more than an empty shell.

Life is a process of learning to let go

What was it that had been ripped out of this student of mine? From the perspective of energy, it is clear that it was her soul that had been ripped out because it had been tightly attached and entwined with her boyfriend. Lovers often would vow to each other ‘Till death do us part. They want to be inseparable. If everything were to go smoothly for them they would be very happy, but if there should there be any setback, the more attached they were the more they suffer.

Similar to the previous example, many of the dying are unable to go in peace. Why? Because they have too many attachments. The dying suffer because of these attachments. They must let go of them one by one.

Life from the perspective of energy

    **

When we let go with reluctance, it is suffering. When we let go with willingness, it is transcendence.

Life is a process of learning to let go ── we acquire resources and realize the essence of life. We learn, then we let go. We were born with empty hands, but when we leave, what will we hold? Where will we go? And how will we get there?

From the perspective of energy, the girl’s soul had already been carried away by her boyfriend. In fact, many of us are carrying other people’s souls with us. It may sound horrifying - how is that possible? But think about it, if you are constantly thinking of someone, from the perspective of energy, aren’t you pulling that person towards you? You are my sweetheart, my baby, mommy can’t live without you!

The words themselves make it clear, and it is even clearer from the perspective of energy. If we continue to extend and expand upon this and infuse it with our emotions, then we can feel it. In this book, we will take a closer look at life from the perspective of energy.

The Three Layers of the Body – the Physical Body, the Soul Body, and the Spirit

    **

In the course of my journey, I have come to realize that there are really three parts to each human being.

The first part is the physical body which we can all feel, touch, and see.

The second part is what I mentioned previously: the soul body. Some people become scared when they hear about the soul because they confuse the soul with ghosts. Most people don’t think about the state of their soul too often, but if they were dying, or if a member of their family were dying, then they would seriously contemplate its significance.

Some people wonder, where will I end up after I die? Most people don’t believe that death is the end, so they worry about life after death, but most only worry about it at the last moment. The existence of the soul has long been proven by advanced countries, so there is no question about it. But what exactly is the soul? How can we experience the existence of the soul? What does the soul have to do with our daily lives? That is what we are here to learn.

Wrapped inside the soul is the most important layer – the spirit. The spirit is a body made of the essence of goodness and light. It is all encompassing, harmonious and unblemished. It is our innate nature, also called divinity or Buddha nature. Different religions refer to it with different names, but the purpose of all religions is to search for it – to discover our own spirit. The Universal Love Light I mentioned is this body of light within us. In fact, the spirit and Universal Love Light both refer to the same thing, because the very nature of this spirit body is light.

The soul and the spirit are like colored pigments and light

The soul is energy, while the essence of the spirit is light.

What is the difference between light and energy? Of course light is also a kind of energy, but I am making a differentiation here just to make it clearer. As an analogy, the nature of the soul is like colored pigments. Similarly, our personalities, and our attributes are like various colored pigments.

What is the difference between colored light and colored pigments? Take the example of pigments like paint. If I paint the wall in green, you paint it in red and he paints it in blue, what will happen? Which color will dominate? When there is more of the red, then there is less of the green. When more and more colors are mixed together, it becomes black. The colors cannot be mixed without compromising its integrity, because
