About this ebook

Humanity spends most of its time on earth standing in its own shadow and wonders why it is dark. Makachi Chimusaru found this out through his fair share of experiences that he shares in this book. The crossing over to the other side of his wife became an awakening call for him. Unless one has been through his life experiences that include grief, one cannot begin to know what it feels like to overcome challenges and grow from them. There is no spiritual growth in comfort and maintaining the status quo. It takes darkness to appreciate light, and it takes hate to appreciate love. This is why we as souls leave the comforts of the spirit world to come out here on earth to experience negative energy that makes us appreciate positive energy. Mastering unconditional love is our ultimate goal that will reunite us with our maker in the higher realms of enlightenment. Until we master that love, we shall continue to incarnate here on earth and other realms in order to learn our lessons for a short while at a time. We are all divine souls that need to appreciate that. If you are holding this book right now, then this may mean you were meant to read its message in this time. There are no coincidences or accidents. The universe is so much organized to allow that.

Makachi Chimusaru

From the humble beginnings of a life alternating between rural Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and its urban township settings in the city of Bulawayo, Makachi Chimusaru, now a Canadian citizen and a holder of a master’s degree in agriculture (agronomy) from the Kuban State University of Agriculture, has experienced his fair share of painful challenges in his current and past lives. The crossing over to the other side of his wife on January 17, 2008, marked his turning point of spiritual awakening as he sought for satisfying answers about life on earth. The pains he experienced in his grief stimulated him to search and research the purposes of life and why one has to experience pain in the process. He landed on metaphysics under the guidance of the world metaphysical teacher Maitreya ( www.maitreya.co). This discipline managed to educate him on the meaning of his life experiences against a background of his spiritual growth. There is always a bigger picture in all life's challenges. As he shares his life experiences here on earth and lessons he has drawn from them, Makachi hopes that many readers shall resonate with his views and find this work inspiring so that never again will they go through what he went through due to lack of knowledge and understanding. Everybody on earth has had past lives. Most people don't remember that for learning purposes. Makachi has managed to trace his past lives and discover how the karma accrued from those life experiences is affecting and influencing his current life. Grief and surviving a life as a single parent father are lessons that he shares in this book as well, especially for those that are moaning the loss of a loved one and feeling alone and yet in real terms they are not alone according to his discoveries. Makachi Chimusaru an Albertan now lives in the city of Lethbridge, in Canada together with his two children. He has survived raising his two children as a single parent father after the passing away of his beloved wife.

I dedicate this book to my wife Gloria Chimusaru, who crossed over to the other side at the age of 43 years on 17th January 2008.

To her soul I say, thank you for being part of my journey. I would not be who I am today without your corner stone involvement in my soul’s journeys that includes past incarnations.

    Introduction

We are all part of the universe and the universe is incomplete without one of us. It doesn’t matter whether one is a drug addict, a thief or a loser; every one of us is exactly where we are supposed to be in the grand scheme of things. We are all here to learn different lessons and then go back home. Our home is the spirit world. Our essence is energy. Right now, wherever you are as you read this book, nobody is better suited to be reading it than you. Out of the billions of citizens of this earth at the present moment, you are the one to be where you are. Everything happens for a reason and there are no coincidences or accidents. The universe is organized to not allow accidents. That is just how important each of us is to the makeup of the universe. Life on earth is more of learning than punishment for one’s past deeds. No matter what one does, one can never make a three-month-old baby stand up and sprint a hundred meters like an adult. It takes time here in the physical world for the body to grow and develop into an adult. The same applies to soul growth. Some souls are further along the path of enlightenment than others thus making each soul’s truth unique. Only the Source (the creator) understands the truth of each soul and so we are not in a position to judge one another. This is why as souls we leave the comfort of our home, the spirit world, to journey not only to earth but to every possible point of the universe where a soul stands to learn its lessons. A soul learns by experience. We are here to learn and grow. That is why we are always facing challenges and changes. We mirror what the others don’t want to see in themselves or the opposite. That is one of the ways we help each other to learn. There is no growth and learning in a comfortable zone or by maintaining the status quo in any environment. Life is dynamic. The overall aim of the soul journeys is to become all knowing through experience and eventually need not ever incarnate anywhere for learning. At that stage the soul becomes one with the energy of the creator.

The journeys I touch on in this book have a metaphysical leaning and approach in all the interpretations. It is the only way that appeals to me in the understanding of my soul’s journeys, culminating in my survival as a single parent father today. My soul journey has not been a one-time life span saddled with today’s difficult life experiences only. That I understand because of a few memories of past lives that I carry today. Karmic issues have been at play lifetime after lifetime. I hope you, the reader, will pick up and learn from my experiences and interpretations; be comforted by those that resonate with you and leave those that don’t appeal to you. Each one of us has a unique and different set of lessons to learn this time around. What may be meat to one might be poison to another. We are all at different stages of spiritual enlightenment. Some are further along the path of learning than others but that does not make them better than others. We are all students in a big school called EARTH.

God loves every single soul unconditionally. Even the Christian Bible acknowledges that God is love (The King James Version, John 4.8). We are all divine souls wearing a physical body to help us experience this of our physical reality. We all come from the spirit world for a little while to learn our lessons and when our lessons are over, we discard our physical bodies and go back home (an experience we call death here on earth) to review the life we have just lived. When we arrive into this world, the first thing we do as babies is cry whilst our chosen parents and the world at large celebrate our arrival. At the end of our lives our parents and the world at large cry at our departure whilst we as souls, along with the other souls living in the spirit world, rejoice and celebrate our arrival back home. Any soul that has ever communicated back from the spirit world never regrets having left the earth plane. They are all happy to be back at home and try to help us, the remaining humans, as much as they can. I am not going to personify God. He is beyond my vocabulary governed by the five senses that are only adequate to learn my lessons as a human being here on earth. All souls are created equal but different from each other. This means that no soul is better than the other. A soul is energy. In the spirit world everything is energy and there is no negative energy like here on earth. Learning is therefore slower in the spirit world compared to earth environment. That is why souls come to the earth plane to learn their lessons faster. God gives every single soul that walks this earth the gift of life and free will. Whatever happens to us while incarnated on earth is purely a result of our choices. There are good choices as well as bad choices. A soul has free will to choose its path of growth. I don’t believe in accidents or coincidences. Everything happens at the right time whether we expect it or not. Synchronicities exist because of the interactions between the earth plane and the spirit world. The spirit world is around us and not somewhere far and above the sky. It is actually intertwined at some points with our world. Change brings growth to a soul that is fearless. There is no growth in maintaining a status quo because as souls we leave the spirit world to come to this physical realm in order to experience a lot of different lessons, both hard and easy.

School is not always easy because it is a place where one goes to acquire skills and knowledge not known before but necessary for growth and development. Learning is a process with different stages, ascension to greater heights as one continues to acquire knowledge. Similarly, such is the life of a soul on earth. Life on earth offers tests and souls learn lessons from the tests. For the soul learning its lessons, there is no failure. It is all about experience. Remember, the spirit world is a soul’s real home.

What I write in this book about journeys of the soul is purely from my own experiences and may not resonate with everyone. Each soul has a specific journey so each soul’s truth is unique to itself. As you read my work please pick up what resonates with you and disregard what does not. One man’s meat is another man’s poison. We are all at different stages of growth hence the difference in enlightenment. I’ll show who we are by using an analog of a car. A car can be equated to our physical bodies. The driver of the car could be the soul. A car cannot move without an operator/driver and similarly the physical body cannot function without a soul. It is like a vegetable. Ever wondered why we have two separate thoughts at any given time? What I mean is one’s mind may have a different opinion from the heart. Understand that the heart is the seat of the soul and the soul is the human essence. If the motor of a car ceases and the car is permanently immobilized, this does not mean the driver has also died. The driver will simply get rid of the dead car and seek another one. Similarly, the soul leaves the physical body at the end of its planned lessons. It goes back home to the spirit world for a review of its just ended life and begins planning another life journey with a totally different body and environment. As I have mentioned before, learning and growth of a soul is slower in the spirit world because there is only positive energy. It is faster hear on earth because of the negative energy that provides comparisons for the soul to learn faster. Take for instance if one is born and bred in a room painted white with white light around all the time for their entire life. It may be difficult and almost impossible for the person to appreciate and understand the light around them, as there would be no comparison to help to explain it. If darkness were to be introduced to the person, then it would be easier for that person to appreciate light faster and grow from it. Earth is a big school for all the souls that walk on it. Only brave souls eager to learn and grow leave their homes of comfort in the spirit world to come here and learn under harsh earth conditions so as to grow faster. All souls are different. There is not even one that has a duplicate mate. Souls are like fingerprints. Each soul has lessons unique to itself. That is why one cannot judge the other, for one may not know what the other soul is learning about
