Larry and Elizabeth meet in college, get married and get jobs near Los Angeles.
Their next door neighbors then have a bit of a problem, when the husband rents a prostitute in a legal Nevada brothel. That results in the next door wife starring in a porno video.
Then Larry and Elizabeth's car suffers some expensive, major internal damage.
Larry and Elizabeth need their car.
It turns out that the next door wife didn't really get paid for her porno video work, but she did spend a lot of what she thought that she earned.
In the midst of two financial crises, Elizabeth and the next door wife decide that the only way out is to go to Nevada and work in a brothel, to earn the cash necessary to bail them out.
However, one of the next door wife's friends suggests a maybe better solution. The two ladies can instead appear in a porno video, in Los Angeles and earn the necessary money that way.
The husbands aren't too happy with the idea, but they can also appear in the porno video.
What then happens is an interesting look at novices entering the porn video world.

My wife and I met while we were in college together. We fell in love and talked of marriage. However, our families lived a long way from the college that we attended, a long way from each other and neither family had any real money. Thus, we would have to figure out a way to make a living, if we were going to get married.

Just before we both graduated, we each went to a few college, ‘career days.’ We each interviewed with several companies. I got a really good job offer from a company that I interviewed with. That evening, I got together with Elizabeth, my then girlfriend. I told her, I got a really good job offer from a company located just outside of Los Angeles.

Elizabeth seemed shocked and she asked me, Larry, where outside of Los Angeles?

I told her the name of the area and she laughed and said, Larry, that’s right next to the area where I just got a job offer!

We checked things out and her work offer and my work offer are maybe a mile apart.

We each accept a job offer and then we get married. We move out to the Los Angeles area, get a place and settle in. The place we live is convenient to both of our work places and, miracle of miracles, it even has bus service that will get us back and forth to work, if one of us needs the car. (People in Los Angeles apparently don’t use the bus much and the service is generally very poor.)

The place where we live is next door to another young couple, Greg and Joanna. Greg and I are average looking guys. Elizabeth is attractive, but not a glamour girl. Joanna is a glamour girl and Elizabeth isn’t all that happy with Joanna living next door. However, Liz and Joanna eventually reach a sort of an armed truce.

Since we’re both new hires, Liz or I sometimes have to go to training sessions. Liz is at one such training session, in the big city, and she’s gone for a couple of days.

Greg travels to Nevada, to do something for his employer. Greg decides to try one of the legal brothels that they have in Nevada. Greg then comes back home and wants to talk with me. Greg asks me, Do you know where Liz is?

I’m maybe a bit puzzled and I say, Yeah, she’s in Los Angeles, at a work training session. Why?

Greg tells me, I stopped at a brothel in Nevada. I got a line up, so that I could pick the girl that I wanted. Larry, one of the girls was Liz!

I’m, of course, shocked as hell. I ask Greg, Are you sure?

Greg says, Either Liz or her identical twin sister.
