Chapter 1

It was a cold brisk January morning. Nicole Camden was out for her morning jog. She usually jogged earlier, but this morning she wasn’t feeling herself. She’d been jogging about ten minutes when she felt a sharp pain in her right side. She thought maybe it was a cramp. She spotted a bench a few yards away, so she headed for it. She was almost to the bench when she doubled over in pain.

She didn’t realize she’d cried out until someone was lifting her off the ground. When Nicole looked up startled, she looked into the sexiest and caring blue eyes she’d ever seen. The man had shiny ebony hair and a complexion that most women would die for. He smelled heavenly. If she wasn’t in so much pain she’d be almost panting.

Are you alright? He asked as he sat her down on the bench.
