STRANGE CONFESSIONS

Dressed to draw attention and to confess her naughtiness to the hottest priest she’d ever seen, Katrina excitedly slipped into the huge church. Having appeared for services over the past months with increasingly daring outfits, she was sure she’d caught his interest.

Clasping her rosary beads in her grasp, she twitched tightly clad hips on the way to an empty pew. To her surprise, several women were ahead of her. She settled down to wait while glancing at all the stained glass and high ceilings. Having backed off from church and confession long ago, she couldn’t believe she was eagerly waiting to confess.

After evading many rapid proposals of marriage, she’d grown irritated with the dating scene years ago and now needed something different to fuel her fantasies. Words such as desirable, sexy, and edible were thrown at her so often that she’d begun growling back clingy, boring, and ‘oh, give me a fucking break!’ on too many occasions.

While waiting, she couldn’t help but grin over how it had all started. She’d been shopping when she’d overheard a heated conversation. Thinking it was a joke, she’d become intrigued when everyone agreed that it was indeed strange for such a hot priest to have the last name of Strange.

They’d spoken with brazen candor about fantasies, declaring their desire to explore some Strange. Since she knew most of these women were married, their heated assertions had caused Kat’s radar to fly off the map. Upon hearing it was a priest, she’d fervently prayed all the way home.

Two women headed for the emptied booth, causing her to discreetly cover her mouth over the volcanic giggle threatening to erupt. The woman who’d just departed kept her eyes to the floor as she quickly headed down the aisle. Kat had to wonder what these husbands thought of all this.

She vowed to wait forever in order to unload her thoughtful and steamy confession. While she waited, her mind mulled over Father Strange, wondering why a hot young man would choose such a profession. She’d heard the ‘calling’ excuse, but couldn’t believe that it was true in his case.

A people-watcher by nature, she wondered if this overly handsome priest arrogantly knew his effect on women.
