FOREWORD

I have had it in my mind to write a story about nun’s who break all the rules, both in their attitude to sex and general behaviour. I wanted to portray women who, while embracing the church’s teachings, also sought to break all the rules regarding the way a nun should conduct herself. Rosie one of the main characters in this story is that person. She is the rebel nun if you like. She swears, she is not going to stick to her vows of chastity and she is the opposite of Veronice, her roommate who is just discovering her sexual side, but with these torrid, awakenings, things are about to change.

That, of course, is her dilemma and Rosie, this modern day follower of God, is her mentor as she tries to come to grips with the feelings and desires that now fill her head day after day.

As I said, this is a modern day story not one set in medieval times. I have tried to make it humorous and my real intent is to portray these two women as both confidants and sometimes protagonists. Of course this is a very unlikely scenario in real life, but I don’t stick to the rules when I write for that would indeed be most boring for my readers. So let your imagination soar a little.

CHAPTER 1. REVELATIONS
