About this ebook

This little book is a collection of simple, but powerful principles and proven concepts, contributed freely from many lives: harvested from out of the mountains, forests, fields, gardens and villages of real people.

The author himself accumulated these sayings and quotations in diaries from ordinary, yet extraordinary folks who have carried with them the knowledge of their endeavors and who have not only gained marvelous insights, but are due long awaited honor. I now share and publish this information for all those who gave indefatigably of themselves for the sake of their children and future generations—all without recognition!

These down to earth basic principles will help unravel the mystery of raising good kids and at the same time delve into the secret fountains of a better life for all!

    Introduction

    Where it all began?

Once I was listening to a radio talk program, where the subject of the day was How To Be Assured In Raising Great and EXTRAORDINARY Children!

The talk show host was interviewing a so called Psychiatrist of Children’s Higher Advancement, Doctor Physician Psychologist, Professor-Researcher-Teacher, Social Engineer-Consultant, Child Leadership Associate, Advanced Youth Trainer and best selling Author-Lawyer-Politician for children, Sheesh!

Hey, I was impressed. This EXPERT had a ten thousand dollar name, and enough letters behind his titles to fill several alphabets and have plenty left over to write several more parenting books. No doubt, he certainly had an ability to present his ideals with an intellectual eloquence far beyond my ability to fully comprehend his interpolations into a cohesive dialogue. He seemingly did have all the answers that a privileged education could invent. After all the braggadocio introductory narration’s and with a long list of this experts multiple qualifications, the show finally began.

Now after listening to this experts intellectual advice for about twenty minutes, some young mother called into the show with a question. But before she asked her question she casually inquired of this great philosopher of the future generations, Doctor Philosopher so and so, how many children do you have yourself?

The compulsive degree achiever, expertly replied without embarrassment, Oh, I am not married yet and have no children of my own!

What? I heard millions of real listening parents groan and shout!

At that moment, I had the greatest laugh, and with much amusement I shut off the radio. This was outrageous and an insult to every existing family, no less the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard!

I really do not care how many Degrees of Higher Education this man and his kind might procure from types like unto himself, they are useless as far as I and most real parents are concerned. In fact I think that the whole world would be better off if these types would move to a far away jungle land and teach each other all their secrets and just remain their forever, like seedless pomegranates, never reproducing a thing.

Hey all you social engineers, you high paid EXPERTS of experimental life and you long practiced educators of Hot Air, if you really want to know about children and a family, and all the woes, wonders and worries of such a parental experience; please climb the mountain of reality or get into the trenches
